  • Patent number: 10134045
Abstract: Techniques and systems are disclosed for forwarding a limited number of vendor messages during a consumer mobile device campaign, such as a CSC campaign. Opt-in events are received from an aggregator's message service platform for a consumer mobile device (e.g., smart-phone), and a time interval is identified for the campaign that comprises a duration for the campaign. Campaign parameters are identified, where the parameters comprise a desired number of campaign messages for the “opted-in” consumer mobile device. Vendors are grouped into one or more campaign message categories (e.g., by service or products), and a bidding frequency is identified for campaign message categories for the campaign duration. Bids are received for message slots at the bidding frequency for a campaign message category, a desired bid is selected if it meets a threshold, and the corresponding vendor message is sent to the opted-in phone(s).

  • Patent number: 8751312
Abstract: An auction is effected with two levels of participation. A winning ticket is established and the auction object is awarded to the winning ticket. In addition, certain tickets are selected as payback tickets which receive back either the amount paid for the ticket or at least the mean entry fee, which is the average paid for all tickets. The winning ticket is awarded randomly, but the individual tickets in the “drawing” are weighted according to the entry fee paid for the given ticket. The payback tickets are determined according to another criterion, for example the time of purchase or a match between the actual fee paid for the ticket and the mean entry fee.

  • Patent number: 6085099
Abstract: The system for transmitting messages is used in a mobile radio telephone network (1) having a number of terminals (4, 9). The terminals may be either permanently allocated to a specific user or allocated to a specific user by means of a chip card insertable in the terminal. At least two terminals can enter into voice or data communication with one another in the mobile radio telephone network. The mobile radio telephone network comprises at least one center (8) for controlling the message transmission, each message being a data communication in which data telegrams containing a standardized data header are exchanged. For processing special services according to a special procedure accessible only to a certain authorized subscribers, the data telegram comprises an identification code in addition to the standardized data header. A central unit (10) associated with the center and at least some of the terminals have units for generating data telegrams provided with the identification code.
