  • Patent number: 7051764
Abstract: A line arrangement is provided for transmitting volume flows of fluids with a port which is assigned to a pump, a port which is assigned to an actuator and a connecting line which connects the pump to the actuator. An amplified damping effect of pulsations occurring in the line arrangement is achieved in that at least one line through which there is not a flow and which is composed at least partially of an elastic hose should branch off from the connecting line. At least one inner hose oriented axially with respect to the elastic hose is provided which has at least one free end opening axially to an axial space of the elastic hose.

Abstract: In order to provide a line arrangement for transmitting volume flows of fluids with a port which is assigned to a pump, a port which is assigned to an actuator and a connecting line which connects the pump to the actuator, which has an amplified damping effect of pulsations occurring in the line arrangement, it is proposed that at least one line through which there is not a flow and which is composed at least partially of an elastic hose should branch off from the connecting line. The same result is achieved if at least one line which runs in parallel with the connecting line and which is composed at least partially of an elastic hose is provided.

  • Patent number: 6394493
Abstract: A steering arrangement for a motor vehicle has a steering column tube which is arranged in a steering-wheel-side area in a height-adjustable manner relative to a vehicle-fixed console by way of an adjusting device. In a steering-gear-side area, the steering column tube is swivellably disposed on the vehicle-fixed console by way of a compensating bearing. The steering column tube is additionally held longitudinally adjustably by the adjusting device, and the compensating bearing is formed by a single suspension point which is eccentrically applied to the steering column tube and which defines the swivelling axis for the height adjustment of the steering column tube, and which, in the longitudinal direction of the steering column tube, has degrees of freedom for a displaceability of the steering column tube.

  • Patent number: 5672111
Abstract: A steering spindle for a motor vehicle has a plug-in connection in which a splined shaft profile extends axially and is arranged at the end of a shaft, and a receiving tube which receives the splined shaft profile and is provided along its inner circumference with a corresponding splined hub profile. Furthermore, the steering spindle has, in the region of the plug-in connection, a plastic layer which extends at least along certain axial regions and fills clearances between the inner wall of the receiving tube and the splined shaft profile. The splines of the one part, arranged in the region of the receiving tube, are formed uninterruptedly in the axial direction and are an undersized portion in the circumferential direction with respect to the grooves of the other part. The splines of the one part are provided with the plastic layer of elastomeric plastic bridging this undersize portion.

  • Patent number: 5358410
Abstract: According, two casing parts is disclosed for a spiral cable for connecting electrical line terminals between a stationary vehicle steering column and a rotatable steering wheel. One of the two casing parts has an annular space for the spiral cable which is open towards an axial face and the other casing part is in the form of a plate for covering the annular space. It is thus possible to arrange the two casing parts at an axial distance from one another and thus to prevent the two parts from rubbing against one another.

  • Patent number: 5291800
Abstract: A motor vehicle steering wheel has flat steel deformable spokes which connect a steering-wheel rim to a hub to be mounted on a steering shaft. The associated free ends of the spokes are cast into the cast hub, and each spoke has in the cast-in area a passage bore which extends in the axial direction of the steering wheel and penetrated by the hub material during the casting process. In order to achieve an increase in rigidity in the hub/spokes connecting area, the passage bore is arranged directly adjacent to the entry area of the spoke into the hub, forming a rolling step, such that in this area a tension-rod connection is formed between the hub material located above and below the spoke.
