  • Patent number: 11858372
Abstract: A method is provided for processing a predetermined computing task by a distributed, vehicle-based computing system. By a server device, the computing task is divided into several data packets with respective computing data for a respective part of the computing task. The method includes that at least one motor vehicle is determined, which currently is in a predetermined ready state, and, in case it is in the predetermined ready state, the server device transmits to the motor vehicle at least one of the data packets and the motor vehicle processes the respective computing data of the at least one transmitted data packet. The vehicle generates a respective computing result related to the data packet and transmits this computing result to the server device.

  • Publication number: 20230294545
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for supplying electric energy for an electrically operatable motor vehicle, wherein electric energy is received from a power grid by means of a supply device (12); respective generation information is received for each energy packet received from the power grid, said information being assigned to the respective energy packet via distributed ledger technology and characterizing a generation property assigned to the received energy packet; electric energy from at least one energy packet is supplied to the motor vehicle; and supply information (10) is supplied to the motor vehicle, said information characterizing the respective assigned generation property of the at least one energy packet of the electric energy supplied to the motor vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11101691
Abstract: A method coordinates an exchange of power between a plurality of technical small units on the one hand and a transmission network on the other hand. A central control device forms a general schedule from individual schedules of all available small units and controls the exchange of power of the small units with the transmission network according to the general schedule, wherein a delta schedule is calculated by the control device from a balancing of the general schedule and a predetermined call-off plan of a network operator or an electricity exchange. A central memory connected to the transmission network is controlled according to the delta schedule, such that the central memory exchanges an electrical compensation power with the transmission network, such that the technical small units and the central memory together carry out the call-off plan.

  • Publication number: 20140058659
Abstract: A method for computer-aided processing of electronically stored calendar data by a user terminal, wherein, by use of the user terminal, a calendar entry is read out of a data memory, the calendar entries including, with respect to an event, at least one piece of information concerning the beginning and the location of the event. The current position and time of the user terminal and a route from the current position of the user terminal to the location of the event, as well as the probable duration for the covering of the route are determined. From the beginning of the event, the current time and the probable duration for the route covering, a time difference is determined which is available up to the start of the route covering, in which case, the time difference is visually and/or audibly outputted for the user.

  • Publication number: 20130073349
Abstract: An owned vehicle for use is registered at a management unit of a computer system as a rental vehicle. A first interface of the computer system that is accessible through registration, captures persons, approved by the vehicle owner, for a temporary use of the vehicle; a price model, specified by the owner, for the temporary use of the vehicle; and an operating area, defined by the owner. The operating area encompasses one or more demarcated areas, in which the vehicle may be parked by an approved person after the end of the temporary use. When an approved person is operating the vehicle, a data acquisition unit of the computer system receives telematically vehicle trip related data. An accounting unit determines, as a function of the vehicle trip related data and the price model for a predefined time for the respective approved person, an amount to be billed.
