  • Patent number: 8192661
Abstract: A process for the production of tapes from a web of polymeric material, as well as an apparatus for carrying out the process, in which a polymer melt is extruded to form the web, which is then cooled, and drawn off. The web is then cut to form a tape sheet composed of a plurality of tapes. According to the invention, before its drawing, the sheet of tapes is divided into several groups of tapes and drawn separately. For this, a drawing device is provided with which the tapes are drawn separately after division of the sheet of tapes.

  • Publication number: 20110318442
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for producing monofilaments or ribbons which are guided in parallel through several treatment devices in an extrusion process. For this purpose, an extrusion device is connected downstream in several treatment device, wherein for guiding the monofilaments or ribbons at least one rod-shaped guide element is provided which has a contact surface for guiding the ribbons or monofilaments. In order to enable low-friction and wear-resistant guidance, in particular when using very elastic monofilaments or ribbons, the contact surface has a multiple coating comprising several coating materials that are applied in several single coatings, each with a different layer thicknesses, wherein the single coatings are formed in a sandwich-like manner on the contact surface.

  • Patent number: 6584657
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine for treating the surface of at least one textile web of endless fabric, especially for napping and/or emerizing or the like, wherein the machine has at least a drum with a planetary-like, driven working roll (napping roll and/or emerizing roll or the like). The invention is characterized in that the drum (3) is mounted on a cylindrical support body (9) fixed on the machine frame (10) in such a way that it can rotate and be driven.

  • Patent number: 4607917
Abstract: The disclosed invention relates to an electro-optical device for use with a facsimile printer, telecopier, etc., designed to accommodate line-at-a-time output of picture information with the aid of an electrically controllable electro-optical substrate made from a transparent electro-optical material, with the optical effect being controlled by applying a voltage between two control electrodes arranged next to each other on the substrate. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, within the area (4) of the substrate (1) to be controlled, and in addition to the control electrodes (2,3), there is provided at least one additional electrode (7) which may be common to several such areas (4), with each area (4) to be controlled having a corresponding opening (8) in the additional electrode (7) and the two control electrodes (2, 3) being spaced apart from each other on one side of the substrate (1) and the one or more additional electrodes (7) being arranged on the opposite side of the substrate.

  • Patent number: 4343009
Abstract: A device for controlling the spot elements of an optically controllable component in a facsimile recorder which permits a high writing speed with minimum circuitry. The plurality of spot elements of the controllable optical component are combined in n groups of m>1 spot elements each, the m spot elements of a group forming a partial line. The individual partial lines are energized successively in time, while their m spot elements are energized simultaneously, the respective n-1 nonenergized partial lines completely blocking the light flux.
