  • Patent number: 9120544
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for recovering an unmanned underwater vehicle. In order to ensure a safe recovery of an unmanned seconder underwater vehicle 2 by the primary underwater vehicle 1, the invention provides a recovery into a tender garage 4 for receiving the underwater vehicle 2 wherein the underwater vehicle 2 is centered in an entrance area 7 in front of a gate 5 of the tender garage 4 by means of at least one positioning current 8, which is generated outside of the peripheral area of the gate 5 and is oriented toward the entrance area 8. The underwater vehicle 2 is subsequently introduced into the tender garage 4.

  • Patent number: 6401768
Abstract: A method and a configuration are provided for transporting electrically conductive paint from a point at earth potential to at least one paint application device which is at a high voltage potential. A needed quantity of paint is filled into a cartridge at a point at earth potential. The filled cartridge is conveyed by a first conveying device to a second conveying device. The cartridges are then allocated to workpieces to be painted. The filled cartridge is transported by the second conveying device to the at least one paint application device. At the paint application device, the cartridge is connected to at least one spray head. The emptied cartridge is transported by the second conveying device to a third conveying device, and the third conveying device transports the cartridge back to the loading station, while a further cartridge is filled there and conveyed by the first conveying device.

  • Publication number: 20010047755
Abstract: A method and a configuration are provided for transporting electrically conductive paint from a point at ground potential to at least one paint application device which is at a high voltage potential. A given quantity of a given paint is put into a cartridge at the point at ground potential, which is used as a loading station. The cartridge is then conveyed pneumatically through an at least partly electrically insulated pipe system to the at least one paint application device and is connected to a spray head provided there. The cartridge, which is completely or partly emptied after the painting operation, is conveyed pneumatically back to the point at ground potential, while at least one further cartridge is being filled there. Following the receipt of the completely or partly emptied cartridge, a further cartridge is then conveyed to the at least one paint application device.

  • Patent number: 5986975
Abstract: A drag antenna for a sonar system for detecting and/or locating sources of sound in water includes at least two acoustically sensitive lines positioned side-by-side and laterally spaced apart during a trailing operation. The lines are secured to each other at the leading ends and at the trailing ends by respective connecting element in order to lower the production costs for the drag antenna and to achieve a sufficiently constant lateral spacing between the acoustically sensitive lines.

  • Patent number: 5421490
Abstract: Disclosed is a pump device for pastry or paste-like media. The medium is located in a container and within the container a cover is lowered under the influence of a pressure device. The cover has on its underside, inclined surfaces which are inclined in the direction of a suction opening. The pump device allows a dependable conveyance of the medium, even in an unfavorable relationship of the suction pressure and the viscosity of the medium, by using a conveyor device within the container which helps move the medium.
