  • Patent number: 10360798
Abstract: An application server in a cellular network receives incident information and determines a trust value associated with the incident information using one or more trust parameters. The application server generates a warning message including the the trust value and the one or more trust parameters. The warning message is broadcast to user equipment in vehicles in an area of relevance. The user equipment in the vehicles in the area of relevance receives the warning message and may re-evaluate the trust value in the warning message based on additional trust parameters or information. The user equipment may determine to perform one or more actions based on the trust value, such as providing a warning to a driver or performing a braking operation.

  • Publication number: 20180115563
Abstract: There are provided measures for mitigation of malicious software in a mobile communications network. An example measure includes monitoring network traffic on at least one network interface of the mobile communications network, detecting a network traffic anomaly caused by the malicious software running on a communication endpoint, identifying the communication endpoint using a device identifier associated with the communication endpoint, and causing manipulation of a traffic handling of the network traffic of the communication endpoint based on the device identifier.

  • Patent number: 8230111
Abstract: User data is transmitted between an interconnected data transmission network and a data package transmission network. A receiver of an original signaling message generates a partner signaling message, which has been defined for a data package transmission and is suitable for transporting the original signaling message. The partner signaling message excludes a portion of the original signaling message.

  • Publication number: 20100020788
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for establishing multimedia connections across the borders of packet-switching communications networks according to an Internet protocol and the ITU-Standard H.323, consisting in inserting (connect) a rearwardly pointing authorisation cycle into a standard connection set-up, thereby making it possible to overcome in a simple manner the FIREWALLS restrictions for multimedia connections, in particular voice connections, over IP.

  • Patent number: 7539177
Abstract: The invention relates to an interworking between two protocols in a network with a first user, corresponding to the first protocol and a second user corresponding to the second protocol, achieved whereby a third protocol serves as interface between the Media Gateway Controllers (MGC) involved. A connection between the both users is achieved by means of at least one user channel in each of the transmission and receive directions. Performance features, the operation of which provide a resolution of the user channels, which, on initiation of the performance features, are provided with a command set directed at the second user by the first user with the aim of interrupting the user channel coming from the second user with respect to the first user.

  • Patent number: 7302495
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, according to which useful data is transmitted between an interconnected data transmission network and a data package transmission network. A receiver of an original signaling message generates a partner signaling message, which has been defined for a data package transmission and is suitable for transporting the original signaling message. The partner signaling message however does not contain the original signaling message, as it is withheld.

  • Patent number: 7274687
Abstract: The invention relates to a signaling method for the transmission of signaling information within the frame of a voice transmission or multimedia transmission via an IP network of the SIP-T type, which is connected to at least one public telecommunication network, whereby a first ISUP message, coded in a national format and a second ISUP message, coded in the international ITU-T format, are transmitted with the SIP-T messages.
