    Abstract: An installation switching device includes an insulating housing having a front face, and a switching handle disposed on the front face and configured to be operated by an operator and switched between a switched-on position and a switched-off position. The installation switching device also includes a slide fitted to the front face and moveable between a locked position and a released position. The slide is in the form of a frame and having at least one transverse web transverse to a movement direction of the slide and a holding projection configured to block any switching of the switching handle when the slide is in the locked position and to release the switching handle for switching when the slide is in the released position. The front face includes at least one structural element corresponding to the at least one transverse web.
