  • Publication number: 20240136468
Abstract: In an embodiment a method for producing an optoelectronic semiconductor component includes A) providing a semiconductor body comprising, sequentially in a vertical direction, a first layer of a first conductivity type, an active layer formed as a quantum well structure provided for emission of electromagnetic radiation, and a second layer of a second conductivity type and B) irradiating the semiconductor body with a focused electromagnetic radiation such that a focus region of the electromagnetic radiation lies within the active layer and overlaps with the quantum well structure, wherein the electromagnetic radiation has an intensity which is sufficiently large in the focus region to cause point defects in the quantum well structure so that a defect region is formed and so that a generation of the point defects is limited to the focus region, and wherein a density of point defects in the first layer and the second layer is not changed in B).

  • Patent number: 10642307
Abstract: A joystick includes a mechanism for facilitating the changing of a grip assembly. An actuation mechanism moves a ram into a position where the operator can press down on a locking pin to release the grip assembly. The ram will be in a default position that does not interfere with the operations of the joystick during normal operation. A relatively low amount of force is used to place the ram into position as the force needed to press down on the locking pin comes from the operator. A small electromagnetic that does not interfere with the joystick operations can be used in the actuation mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20200012977
Abstract: Techniques are described for refining system-aided user determination in the current modeling context. At runtime, operations defined in a listing of workflow steps associated with a current workflow are executed. Each step is associated with a role that is associated with the execution of the step. To execute the operations, a workflow step from the listing of workflow steps is identified. Then whether the role associated with the workflow step is a reassigned role is determined based on a reassignment indicator that is persisted in a memory associated with the role. If the role is not associated with a reassignment indicator, the workflow step is executed using a first set of users associated with the role. Otherwise, the workflow step is executed using a second set of users identified as a reassigned set of users. At design time, at least one role is reassigned via a user interface.

  • Patent number: 9963845
Abstract: A rail vehicle has a vehicle body supported in a sprung fashion on bogies. A snow plow has two blade plates that run to a point and a plow blade arranged vertically adjustably behind the blade plates. A projecting portion of the plow blade that projects downwards beyond a lower edge of the blade plates is adjustable. The blade plates rest with their lower edge on a base plate which forms a cutting edge that protrudes from the lower edge in the direction of travel. The snow plow is attached to an under frame of the vehicle body such that the base plate maintains a safety distance from the travel rails. The safety distance is predefined by a maximum spring compression of the vehicle body. The protruding portion of the plow blade is set as a function of the safety distance and of a wear of the wheels of the bogies.

  • Patent number: 8100030
Abstract: A joystick for controlling the functions of machines and/or vehicles comprises an actuator which can be moved in different directions by means of a joint having preferably two degrees of freedom, wherein the back-and-forth motions of the actuator occurring in a first plane are subjected to an active force feedback in the form of an electromotor and a reduction gear, and the back-and-forth movement of the actuator which occurs in a second plane perpendicular to the first plane is subjected to a passive force feedback in the form of a sprung reset device. In order to make such a joystick which allows for a low-cost serial production, the invention proposes that the reduction gear is designed with low backlash and is connected on the output side to the actuator via a preferably leaf-spring assembly which connects a swing arm to a joint part.

  • Patent number: 7712485
Abstract: A control lever (10) is provided with a grip (12), which in a joint (14) having two degrees of freedom is supported in a housing (11) and can be switched from an initial position in various directions for activating shift elements (18, 19), whereby spring elements (41, 42) are provided for returning the grip (12) to its initial position, and with a functional device for overcoming a pressure point during the activation and/or for retaining a desired shift position. In order to provide functional devices in greater numbers in a gearshift lever of this type without requiring substantially more installation space or substantially higher costs, provision is made that the functional device is constituted by an electrically controllable hydraulic arrangement (35), which connects to diametrically opposing shift elements (18, 19), which can be activated by the grip (12) in two opposing directions of motion.
