  • Publication number: 20240083202
Abstract: A method for operating a monitoring device for at least one vehicle parameter, in particular an air-pressure sensor for the tire-pressure vehicle parameter. The monitoring device is operated in a drive mode or in a stationary mode as a function of the velocity of the vehicle. Connection signals for the wireless connection to an external device, in particular a configuration device for the monitoring device, are transmitted in the stationary mode. Prior to the change to the stationary mode, the monitoring device is operated in a first intermediate mode. A passive search for wireless connection signals from the external device is carried out in the first intermediate mode.

  • Patent number: 11619684
Abstract: A magneto coupler for magnetic coupling of signal lines. The magneto coupler includes a circuit board including a first and second electrical connecting devices for connecting a first and second signal lines, respectively, and a semiconductor chip situated on the circuit board. The magneto coupler includes at least one transmitter coil situated in the area of the semiconductor chip, designed to generate a magnetic field based on an electrical signal received via the first electrical connecting device, and a magnetic field-sensitive sensor situated on the semiconductor chip and electrically insulated from the transmitter coil using an insulation barrier, for detecting the magnetic field generated by the transmitter coil and for outputting an electrical signal as a function of the detected magnetic field on the second electrical connecting device. The transmitter coil is situated on the circuit board, while the semiconductor chip is situated above the transmitter coil.

  • Patent number: 10734996
Abstract: A sensor apparatus for detecting a target object is provided, together with a corresponding method for operating the sensor apparatus. The sensor apparatus comprises a transmitter device which is operated by periodic excitation signals at a basic frequency, a receiver device which couples to the transmitter device, wherein the coupling is dependent on a relative position of the target object with respect to the receiver device, and the receiver device delivers signals at the basic frequency which are dependent on the relative position of the target object with respect to the receiver device. A threshold value checking device checks whether signals lie within or outside a threshold value range. A linking device acts on signals from the receiver device or signals derived therefrom in such a way that signals or signal combinations are shifted into the threshold value range insofar as they previously lay outside this range.

  • Patent number: 5707440
Abstract: A finely divided inorganic filler material is a sintered composite which consists of larger macro-filler particles of glass and of smaller micro-filler particles of glass or ceramics partially covering the macro-filler particle and firmly connected to it by sintering. Plastic materials reinforced with the filler are distinguished by improved abrasion resistance.

  • Patent number: 5548000
Abstract: An artificial tooth of polymethacrylate, barium aluminum silicate glass and microfine silicon dioxide is described that imitates the natural tooth in its essential properties, namely mechanical strength and abrasion performance as well as transparency and depth of color. The tooth contains 15 to 35 weight % polymethacrylate, 35 to 75 weight % barium aluminum silicate glass with a mean particle size of from 0.1 to 5 micrometers, and 5 to 25 weight % silicon dioxide with a mean particle size of from 0.01 to 0.2 micrometers. In addition pigments necessary to match cosmetic requirements, are normally added as necessary.

  • Patent number: 4256118
Abstract: Apparatus for the detection and recording of uterine activity, particularly for use as a contraction recorder and equipped for the electromyographic detection of the electrical fields in the abdominal region inherent in muscular activity, the apparatus being composed of a system for generating a signal which essentially corresponds to the intensity of the alternating voltage component of the electromyographically derived signal, averaging this signal in time, and emitting the averaged signal as a measure for the intrauterine pressure variations.

  • Patent number: 4211237
Abstract: A periodically occurring signal pattern that is part of a signal mixture including interference components, in particular QRS complexes of fetal heart signals in an abdominally derived fetomaternal electrocardiogram, is detected by storing the amplitude-time waveform pattern of a signal that has initially been recognized according to a first criterion, preferably an amplitude criterion, in a memory and then using this pattern for identifying subsequent signals according to a second criterion which is the degree of coincidence of the signal in question with the amplitude shape of the stored pattern.
