  • Patent number: 10451199
Abstract: A sealing arrangement for sealing at least one opening in a wall for the insertion of at least one tube through the opening, in particular in a dividing wall of a motor vehicle, with a sealing body having at least one first lead-through opening, wherein the sealing body has a circumferential groove having at least one sealing lip arranged in the area of the groove and surrounding the sealing body, and with a frame carrying the sealing body, and with a first frame edge formed peripherally on the frame and projecting therefrom. The first frame edge engages in a first recess of the sealing body in an axial direction and radially inwardly of the at least one sealing lip.

Date of Patent: October 22, 2019
    Assignee: MAHLE International GmbH
    Inventors: Michael Berger, Joachim Raimann
  • Patent number: 9975395
Abstract: A motor vehicle air conditioning unit having a housing, a heat exchanger, at least two manifolds and cooling tubes arranged therebetween forming a tube block. The housing has at least one first sealing rib oriented substantially parallel to an extending direction of the at least two manifolds and at least one second sealing rib oriented substantially parallel to an extending direction of the cooling tubes in the tube block, such that the at least one first sealing rib is oriented perpendicular to the at least one second sealing rib.

  • Publication number: 20140144605
Abstract: A motor vehicle air conditioning unit having a housing, a heat exchanger, at least two manifolds and cooling tubes arranged therebetween forming a tube block, the heat exchanger is sealed with respect to bypass air inexpensively and with little technical effort. The housing has at least one V-shaped sealing rib oriented substantially parallel to an imaginary plane spanned by the tube block and/or one H-shaped sealing rib oriented substantially parallel to an imaginary plane spanned by the tube block for sealing a front and/or rear side of the tube block, and the at least one H-shaped sealing rib is oriented substantially perpendicular to the at least one V-shaped sealing rib.

  • Patent number: 5992163
Abstract: A process and an arrangement for controlling an air conditioner utilize an evaporator protected against icing and a refrigerant circulating system which includes at least one compressor and the evaporator. The evaporator temperature is sensed continuously and the compressor is deactivated when the evaporator temperature falls below a defined switch-off temperature. The compressor is activated again when the evaporator temperature exceeds a defined switch-on temperature which is at least equal to the switch-off temperature. The evaporator temperature gradient is determined by a corresponding control unit from the continuous sensing of the evaporator temperature.
