  • Publication number: 20210246939
Abstract: A securing element for axially securing a shaft or a component on a shaft includes at least two sector elements that can be joined to each other to form an essentially closed ring form with a central through opening for the shaft. The sector elements have latching structures or snap-fit structures, by which they can be connected to each other. The latching structures include a groove-like indentation with a first snap-fit hook formed in a first one of the sector elements and a spring arm with a second snap-fit hook arranged on a second one of the sector elements and engaging in the indentation in the first sector element.

  • Patent number: 7501988
Abstract: An antenna device (8) for a motor vehicle (10) is disclosed whereby the antenna device (8) includes a dielectric carrier (1) and components mounted on it, including at least one antenna (3; 6) and at least one impedance transformer (5) assigned to this one, as a minimum, antenna (6). In addition, the motor vehicle (10) is described with the antenna device (8) being mounted in a roof area (14) of the motor vehicle (10) and a spoiler (11) in which the antenna device (8) is mounted.

  • Patent number: 6241280
Abstract: A passenger safety arrangement for a vehicle has a side air bag and a safety belt which acts as a restraining element for a passenger seated on a vehicle seat. The passenger safety arrangement also includes at least one sensor for detecting a lateral collision and at least one control unit for activating the lateral air bag and/or a belt tensioning device in response to signals supplied by the sensor. In order to improve passenger protection in the event of a lateral collision, the side air bag is activated by the control unit before actuation of the belt tensioning device.

  • Patent number: 4876341
Abstract: Acetoacetamide-N-sulfonic acid and its salts are cyclized with at least approximately the equimolar amount of SO.sub.3 in short times, preferably in special apparatus, to give 6-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1,2,3-oxathiazin-4-one 2,2-dioxide. In the case where more than the equimolar amount of SO.sub.3 is used, the latter compound is produced as an SO.sub.3 adduct which then needs to be hydrolyzed; the hydrolysis also takes place in short times and, particularly advantageously, in apparatus of the same type as for the cyclization. The non-toxic salts, especially the potassium salt - of 6-methyl-3,4-dihydro-1,2,3-oxathiazin-4-one 2,2-dioxide are valuable synthetic sweeteners.

  • Patent number: 4814491
Abstract: The invention relates to hemiacetals of glyoxylic esters and to a process for obtaining a glyoxylic ester having a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 ester group from a mixture which essentially contains a glyoxylic ester of this type plus water and/or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alcohol ROH. In this, the glyoxylic ester and the water and/or the alcohol are partly or completely in a chemically bonded form. A higher alcohol R'OH having a boiling point above 180.degree. C. is added, and distillation is carried out under a pressure not exceeding 800 mbar to remove first the water and/or the alcohol ROH and then the glyoxylic ester.
