  • Patent number: 11459187
Abstract: A method for aligning rectangular packaging boxes comprises the steps of conveying packaging boxes along a transport path and of aligning each packaging box by means of at least one stop element. The step of aligning a packaging box comprises the steps of positioning the at least one stop element in a first position, in which it projects into the transport path; conveying the packaging box against the at least one stop element until each section of the packaging box facing the at least one stop element is resting against it; and moving the at least one stop element into a second position, in which it does not project into the transport path and thus releases the aligned packaging box for further transport.

  • Patent number: 9984158
Abstract: A method and system for finding services in a service-oriented architecture network may include receiving, in a local service registry from a client, a search query for a particular service. The local service registry may include a local database listing registered services. The network may include querying the local database to determine a first list of services that satisfy the search query and determining a neighboring service registry, in a network of service registries, based on a property other than a property of the particular service being searched for. The method may include sending the search query to the neighboring service registry and receiving, from the neighboring service registry, a second list of services, registered with the neighboring service registry, that satisfy the search query. The method may include returning, to the client, the first list of services and the second list of services that satisfy the search query.

  • Patent number: 9866787
Abstract: A method for configuring a plurality of networked cameras includes sending a request to the plurality of networked cameras requesting information relating to enabled storage type of each networked camera, receiving a response from networked cameras. The response includes information relating to storage type enabled in networked camera. The method further includes determining storage type to use for each networked camera that are enabled to autonomously store images at a storage means, where the determining of storage type is performed based on the information relating to enabled storage types received from these networked cameras, and sending a storage instruction to each camera for which a storage type has been determined. The storage instruction instructs a camera to store captured images on a storage means of a specific type.

  • Patent number: 9860325
Abstract: A computer device includes logic configured to implement a tunnel broker. The tunnel broker is configured to receive a request from a client device for a service in a system, the service having a requested service property; select a first node in the system that hosts a first service instance having the requested service property; and establish a communication tunnel with a first end at the client device and a second end at the selected first node. The tunnel broker is further configured to determine that the first node no longer hosts the first service instance having the requested service property or that the first node has become unreachable; select a second node in the system that hosts a second service instance having the requested service property; and move the second end of the communication tunnel from the first node to the second node.

  • Patent number: 9705995
Abstract: A system includes a first service registry that includes a first list of services available in a first one or more nodes of the system and a second service registry that includes a second list of services available in a second one or more nodes of the system, wherein the second service registry is connected to the first service registry. The system further includes a service manager configured to manage a capability of the system, which is realized through a set of one or more services; connect to the first service registry; receive a notification, from the first service registry, indicating a change in the second list of services included in the second service registry; and initiate deployment of a new service for the capability, or locate a deployed instance of the new service in the system, in response to receiving the notification.

  • Publication number: 20130006571
Abstract: A monitoring system includes recording units for recording sequences of monitoring data and a system control station. In the system control station, timing information related to each sequence of monitoring data recorded by the recording units is obtained. The timing information indicates a start time and a stop time for each sequence. A recording unit selection signal is received that indicates a selected recording unit. The timing information is processed together with the recording unit selection signal, and a graphic representation of the start and stop times for a subset of the sequences of monitoring data is displayed using a first graphic characteristic. Further, a graphic representation of the start and stop times for each sequence of monitoring data recorded by the selected recording unit is displayed using a second graphic characteristic that is different from the first graphic characteristic.

  • Publication number: 20120031737
Abstract: The device for conveying objects in packaging machines has a first endless transport unit, which moves first driver elements; a second endless transport unit, which moves second driver elements; a motor-driven drive shaft, which drives the first endless transport unit; an auxiliary shaft, which drives the second endless transport unit; and a belt-type or chain-type connecting element for transmitting drive power from the drive shaft to the auxiliary shaft. The connecting element is guided between the drive shaft and the auxiliary shaft over a plurality of stationary auxiliary rollers and over at least two adjusting rollers, which can be shifted simultaneously in a direction perpendicular to their axes of rotation. The connecting element is guided in such a way that a shift of the adjusting rollers brings about a movement of the connecting element on the auxiliary shaft and thus a change in the angular position of the auxiliary shaft.

  • Publication number: 20030124550
Abstract: Hepatitis C virus-biding protein has been found to be a 40S ribosomal protein S5 composing a 40S ribosomal subunit of an eukaryote. On the basis of this finding, there is provided a method for screening test substances for a substance exhibiting anti-hepatitis-C-virus activity, through detection of inhibitory activity of the substance against binding between an IRES of a hepatitis C virus gene and a 40S ribosomal protein S5.

  • Patent number: 6085092
Abstract: A method for improving the radio cell illumination in a cellular mobile radio system provides that there are a number of neighboring cells adjoining each other and partially overlapping each other, wherein in the marginal region of each cell is arranged at least one fixed transmitter. In order to obtain optimized radio cell illumination, it is provided that the fixed transmitters of neighboring cells directly adjoining a cell transmit to this cell with the same channel group as the fixed transmitter of the cell to be supplied itself. In this way a mobile station located in the cell is supplied not only by one fixed transmitter, but also by the fixed transmitters of neighboring cells. Each fixed station is assigned several sector aerials which at least partially overlap in their transmitting range defined by sectors and which together sweep across at least a range of 360.degree..
