  • Patent number: 4746324
Abstract: The dyeing of wool with reactive dyes in a strongly acid medium (containing sulfuric acid) requires no longer acceptable, long heating-up times (50-60 minutes) in order to obtain level dyeings. It has now been found, according to the invention, that by rapidly heating up the dyebath which contains the dyes of the vinylsulfonyl type and also all the ingredients, except the acid, to the dyeing temperature together with the material to be dyed and then metering in the sulfuric acid under isothermal conditions at the dyeing temperature it is possible to obtain very level and very fast dyeings in a significantly shorter overall dyeing time. Carbonized wool can be dyed without prior neutralization.

  • Patent number: 4304566
Abstract: A process for the dyeing of textiles consisting of wool without anti-felt finish or wool having an anti-felt finish in the form of a coating of a polyimine resin or a polyacrylic resin, or textiles containing such wool, with reactive dyes according to the exhaust method, which comprises dyeing said textiles in aqueous dyeing baths containing at least one commercial reactive dyestuff the starting pH of which is in the weakly acidic to neutral range, by heating rapidly to the dyeing temperature of 110.degree. to 125.degree. C. immediately after addition of the dissolved dyestuff, and by dyeing at this temperature for 10 to 20 minutes, while omitting the addition of pH-regulating substances during the whole dyeing operation.

  • Patent number: 4297101
Abstract: A process for the dyeing of textiles consisting totally or partially of synthetic polyamide fibers with reactive dyes according to the batchwise exhauston method, which comprises dyeing with aqueous dye liquors containing one or several reactive dyes, whose starting pH values are in the slightly acid to neutral range, in the high temperature range at 105.degree. to 140.degree. C. without the addition of alkalis or alkali-yielding agents and without the addition of acids or acid-yielding agents.

  • Patent number: 4277246
Abstract: A process for the dyeing of textiles which consist totally or partially of cellulose fibers, with reactive dyes according to the batchwise exhaustion method, which comprises using aqueous dye liquors containing one or several reactive dyes as well as at least one neutral electrolyte, the initial pH values of said liquors being in the slightly acid range, in the high temperature range at 110.degree. to 140.degree. C. without the addition of an alkali or alkali-yielding agents.

  • Patent number: 4198204
Abstract: Process for dyeing mesh fabrics and woven fabrics, made from cellulose fibers and mixed yarns thereof, in rope form on a winch beck or jet dyeing apparatus by the exhaustion method at a short liquor ratio in the presence of at least one auxiliary, using an aqueous liquor containing dyes or dye precursors which are suitable for the type of fiber and optionally fixing chemicals, wherein dyeing is carried out at a liquor ratio of 1:3 to 1:8 (on the weight of the dry goods) and 2-8 g/l of an anionic or non-ionic, aliphatic softener are used, on its own or as a mixture, as the auxiliary.

  • Patent number: 4125371
Abstract: Exhaust process for the isothermal high-temperature dyeing of textile material made of hydrophobic synthetic fibers in a closed dyeing system with water-insoluble disperse dyestuffs, according to which the disperse dyestuff predispersed in water of 40.degree. to 60.degree. C is introduced into the aqueous bath free of dyestuff that is already circulating and heated together with the material to a dyeing temperature within the range of from 115.degree. to 140.degree. C and adjusted to pH 4 - 6, which comprises evaluating the number of the bath circulations per minute by measuring it and the amount of dyestuff exhausted onto the fiber at the same time, and introducing the predispersed dyestuff in doses into the dyebath, depending on the obtained measuring values.
