  • Patent number: 8221103
Abstract: A motor, comprising: an internal motor chamber, and a rotor rotatable therein. The rotor is drivable by having a pressure medium applied to it and a braking element for braking the rotor. The braking element is axially arranged directly adjacent to the rotor, wherein the braking element and the rotor are axially moveable with respect to each other and form a spring-loaded friction pair, at least between a front end face of the rotor and the braking element.

  • Publication number: 20100178186
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor having an inner motor compartment (18). A rotatable rotor (20) can be driven by applying a pressure medium to it, wherein the pressure medium expands in a working region (40) of the motor compartment (18). A brake element (22) for braking the rotor (20) is disposed axially adjacent thereto. The brake element (22) and the rotor (20) are axially displaceable in relation to one another and form a spring-loaded friction pair (48, 50). In order to be able to achieves a higher braking effect due to stronger springs (52), a pressure chamber (60) is provided, the extension of which in the cross-section thereof is larger than the cross-sectional extension of the motor compartment (18) in the working region (40). The pressure chamber (60) is delimited axially at least on one side by the brake element (22).

  • Patent number: 4738429
Abstract: The invention concerns a manually operated control valve on a pneumatically or hydraulically operated equipment which has a control shaft positioned substantially in a horizontally oriented direction. By turning the control shaft to and fro against an increasing resistance the attached motor of the equipment will turn in one direction or in the other direction. The control shaft is provided with a hose or a piece of hose together with an extension in the shape of a tube or the like, and the hose serves as a universal joint which retains its operating properties independently of any bending of the hose due to position changes of the equipment.

  • Patent number: 4515183
Abstract: The invention relates to a pneumatically driven control valve for the reversible operation of a pneumatic unit. In an addition to an air distribution system for regulating the speed of the pneumatic unit, the control valve incorporates an air volume control system which is fully integrated into the air distribution system. The key component is a rotary slide valve, the rotation of which distributes the compressed air while its axial displacement throttles the air stream flowing through the valve, the degree of throttling depending upon the pressure level of the compressed air delivered to the pneumatic unit. In this way, the control valve is kept simple in construction with very few moving parts and high functional accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4484598
Abstract: A pneumatic control apparatus for an interchangeably operable pneumatic device in which both the shut-off reversing valve for selectively supplying a flow of compressed air to the pneumatic device and a pressure reducing valve for restricting the pressure to a determined pre-selectable value, are located in a single housing.

  • Patent number: 4470481
Abstract: A wick of a wick oiler for pneumatic devices is accommodated inside a movable body which, in its idle position, seals off an oil-dampened end of the wick from a line passage to a corresponding pneumatic device. When there is an increase in pressure or flow in the line passage the body moves to expose the wick.

  • Patent number: 4102351
Abstract: A spraying device for use in a bottle cleaning machine is disclosed having a conveyor chain which is movable through the cleaning machine. A plurality of bottle receiving receptacles are supported from the chain and the bottles to be cleaned are carried in the receptacles. A plurality of spray tubes having a nozzle for directing the spray in a fixed direction with respect to the tube are mounted for pivotal movement so that the spray from each tube is directed through a predetermined spraying zone into a bottle as the conveyor chain moves through the cleaning machine and as the spray tubes are pivoted through a spraying zone. The spray tubes are aligned in series so that the spray from each tube is directed into one of the bottles and so that the axes of the sprays from the different tubes are parallel, and coupling means connect each of the spray tubes with each other so that they pivot through the zone together.
