  • Publication number: 20040223316
Abstract: An illuminable component includes a basic support, a voltage transducer, a luminous foil, a transparent intermediate part, and a non-illuminable part. The basic support has an opening, and the voltage transducer is disposed in the opening of the basic support. The luminous foil is connected to the voltage transducer and is disposed between the basic support and the transparent intermediate part. Disposed between the luminous foil and the non-illuminable part, the transparent intermediate part has an elevation, which extends through the non-illuminable part from one side of the non-illuminable part to the other side and projects over to the other side. The portion of the elevation projecting over the non-illuminable part forms a symbol. The voltage transducer is fastened to one of the other elements of the illuminable component.

  • Patent number: 4326447
Abstract: System for positioning and maintaining position stabilization of a mass such as a barrelled gun supported on a base such as a tracked vehicle. The system employs oppositely rotating disks with fluid actuated clutches for moving the gun barrel mass in a single degree of freedom as determined by a deviation from a predetermined setting.

  • Patent number: 4144826
Abstract: The sewing machine includes respective setting members for adjusting the overstitch width and the stitch length, with the setting members being adjusted by an actuating mechanism responsive to control signals of a program control system, the control signals corresponding to the stitches to be made. The power for driving the actuating mechanism is derived from the continuously operating main shaft of the sewing machine, through a clutch or clutches whose moment to be transmitted is controllable, such as electromagnetic clutches. In one embodiment of the invention, a single electromagnetic clutch is provided for each setting member and includes a first clutch disk connected to the respective setting member to rotate therewith and a second clutch disk secured to a shaft continuously rotated by the main shaft of the machine. A spiral spring is provided to act to rotate the respective setting member in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation thereof by the associated clutch.
