  • Patent number: 9315569
Abstract: Methods of treating or delaying onset of a neurodegenerative disorder with ?-synuclein pathology in an individual comprise administering an antibody which is produced from a stabilized soluble ?-synuclein oligomer and capable of binding a stabilized soluble ?-synuclein oligomer, the stabilized soluble ?-synuclein oligomer having a lower formation rate to a non-soluble aggregated form than a non-stabilized soluble oligomer of the ?-synuclein. The antibody has been collected from a non-human animal to which stabilized soluble ?-synuclein oligomer had been administered or has been produced by hybridoma technology, phage display, ribosome display, mammalian cell display or bacterial display, and the disorder with ?-synuclein pathology is characterized by deposition of Lewy bodies and Lewy neurites or is selected from the group consisting of Parkinson's disease (PD), dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), the Lewy body variant of Alzheimer's disease, and multiple system atrophy (MSA).

  • Patent number: 9307469
Abstract: A method is provided for bi-casting real time data packets in a mobile system that includes a first Node-B and a second Node-B for communication with a user equipment. The method includes associating a first sequence number with a first real time data packet when sending the first real time data packet to the first Node-B and transmitting the first real time data packet associated with the first sequence number to the first Node-B. The method also includes associating a second sequence number with a second real time data packet when sending the first real time data packet to the second Node-B. wherein the second sequence number is different from the first sequence number and transmitting the first real time data packet associated with the second sequence number to the second Node-B.

  • Patent number: 9295079
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements for handling unreliable scheduling grants in a WCDMA-communication system. A user equipment detects that a received scheduling grant is unreliable and adjust its serving grant based on that information. The user equipment is also able to report continuously received unreliable grants as an event to the network, allowing the network to adapt its operation to reduce the unreliable grants.

  • Publication number: 20160037369
Abstract: A radio base station transmits data symbols to a mobile terminal on multiple frequency carriers, e.g., in accordance with the MC-WCDMA or cdma2000 3x air interface protocols. The radio base station instructs the mobile terminal to report channel quality measurements obtained by the terminal for the multiple carriers over the same uplink channel during successive reporting intervals. According to one embodiment, the mobile terminal reports channel quality by receiving data symbols transmitted on a plurality of frequency carriers in a multi-carrier CDMA environment and measuring channel quality for the different frequency carriers. The mobile terminal reports individual ones of the channel quality measurements over the same uplink channel during successive reporting intervals.

  • Publication number: 20150382284
Abstract: A disclosed method is implemented by a network node in a wireless communication network to transmitting system information to a plurality of wireless terminals. The network node transmits a first group of system information blocks (SIBs) via a first physical channel, and transmits a second group of additional SIBs via a different, second physical channel. A corresponding network node operative to implement the method is also disclosed. Another disclosed method is implemented by a wireless terminal in a wireless communication network. The wireless terminal processes information received from a base station over a first physical channel to identify a first group of SIBs, and processes information received from the base station over a different, second physical channel to identify a second group of additional SIBs. A corresponding wireless terminal operative to implement the method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9131496
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements for reducing the time delay associated with the initialization of a data transfer in a Universal Mobile Telecommunications Systems (UMTS) terrestrial radio access network (UTRAN). A Radio Network Controller (RNC) initiates a data transfer by transmitting a downlink paging message to a User Equipment (UE), wherein the UE is capable of being in the states URA PCH, CELL PCH or CELL DCH. The paging message comprises information for transferring the UE from the URA PCH or the CELL PCH state directly to the CELL DCH state by means of delay reducing information indicated in the paging message.

  • Patent number: 9113453
Abstract: An Uplink control channel resource Management Module (120, 130), referred to as “UMM”, and a method in the UMM for assigning, to a radio network node 110, uplink control channel resources, referred to as “UCCHR”, for use in a uplink control channel between the radio network node (110) and a communication device (160) are provided. The UMM obtains (210) resource allocation information, referred to as “RAI”, and generates (220) a resource allocation command, referred to as “RAC”, based on the RAI. The RAC indicates UCCHR to be used by the radio network node. Furthermore, the UMM provides (230) the RAC to the radio network node (110). Related methods and nodes to enable the UMM to assign UCCHR are also provided.
