  • Patent number: 10826751
Abstract: A resource node has application modules that are functionally interconnected by an application management proxy node to one another and/or to application modules of another resource node to provide combined functionality to a user. The resource node includes a plurality of the application modules and an application agent. Each of the application modules controls the resource node to provide corresponding defined functionality. The application agent communicates with the application management proxy node to establish functional interconnections between two or more of the application modules of the resource node and/or between at least one of the application modules of the resource node and at least one of the application modules of the other resource node. The application agent translates communication traffic to provide compatible communications between the application modules that are functionality interconnected. Related application management proxy nodes and methods are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10212492
Abstract: A method and monitoring center (304) for supporting supervision of events in a monitored area (300) based on sensor data (D) reported by sensors over a communication network (302). When the monitoring center (304) detects an abnormal event (E), it identifies a set of sensors (S1-S3) which are potentially impacted by the event, and also identifies network nodes (N1-N3, BS) that are able to communicate sensor data reported by the identified sensors (S1-S3). The monitoring center (304) then instructs (In) the identified network nodes to promote the communication of sensor data reported by the identified sensors. Thereby, transport of the sensor data will be enhanced and it will arrive promptly and properly at the monitoring center, to enable any watching staff to take notice and evaluate the abnormal event as soon as possible.

  • Patent number: 10205777
Abstract: The invention concerns a communication synchronization device (16), method, computer program and computer program product for synchronizing communication (RQ, PRES) as well as to a method, wireless device (58), computer program and computer program product for handling such communication. The device (16) investigates (36) the communication patterns of communications between the wireless terminal (24) and server devices (18, 20, 22) communication sessions (CS1, CS2, CS3) between applications (A1, A2, A3) running in the wireless terminal and the server devices (18, 20, 22), determines a downlink coordination group, collects (38) server device transmissions (PRES) of the group made by the server devices through aligning them with each other in time and sends (40) the collected transmissions to the wireless terminal as an aggregated transmission via a common wireless link. The wireless device (58) receives (52) the aggregated transmission and distributes (54) data therein to the applications (A1, A2, A3).

  • Patent number: 9967779
Abstract: A method and a network node for obtaining a required latency for transmissions between a wireless device and a controller node are disclosed. The network node receives at least one parameter relating to a context of at least one of the wireless device and the controller node. The parameter is detectable by a set of sensor modules. The network node determines, based on the parameter, the required latency for the transmissions. The context comprises one or more of: a surrounding of the at least one of the wireless device and the controller node; an operational ability of the at least one of the wireless device and the controller node; and a sensitivity of operation of the at least one of the wireless device and the controller node. The surrounding, operational ability and/or the sensitivity is/are detectable by at least one sensor module of the set of sensor modules.

  • Patent number: 9852613
Abstract: A method and monitoring center for monitoring occurrence of events in a monitored area, where a monitoring equipment displays information that reflects sensor data reported from sensors in the monitored area. When the monitoring center detects an abnormal event, it identifies a set of sensors which are potentially impacted by the event, and triggers the sensors to enter a vigilance state of elevated operation and to deliver enhanced sensor data. Further, a representation of the abnormal event is auto-zoomed on the monitoring equipment based on the enhanced sensor data from the sensors to increase resolution of the displayed representation.

  • Patent number: 9661150
Abstract: There is provided verification of network activity/usage data between a user equipment and a service provider server. The verification is performed in the service provider server. A first set of network activity/usage data for a user account is acquired from a user equipment. A second set of network activity/usage data for the user account is acquired from a subscription account of the user account. It is determined if a second post in the second set of network activity/usage data is related to a first post in the first set of network activity/usage data. If so, first data of the first post is compared to second data of the second post. The second post is updated with the first data in a case the first data does not match the second data.

  • Publication number: 20170118620
Abstract: Methods, a network node and a second device for managing values of a physical quantity are disclosed. The second device is associated with a second receiver device. The network node receives, from the first wireless device, a first value, obtained by a first sensor associated with the first wireless device. The network node receives first and second information about mobility from the first wireless device and the second device, respectively. The network node determines a surrogate value based on at least the first value, when the first information and the second information are within a range for considering the first and second information to be equivalent. The network node sends the surrogate value to the second receiver device.

  • Patent number: 9544763
Abstract: One method by a network operations center node controls collection of information from electronic devices. A request message is received from a sensor, which requests collection of information from electronic devices within range of the sensor. One of a plurality of radio access networks is selected based on it likely being communicatively connected to electronic devices within range of the sensor. An inquiry message is sent to the radio access network for broadcast to the electronic devices, requesting information from the electronic devices. An authentication message is received from a responsive electronic device. An information collection disclosure response that identifies who is requesting collection of the information from the electronic device and/or how information collected from the electronic device will be used, is sent to the electronic device. Related methods by sensors and electronic devices, and related sensors, network operations center nodes, and electronic devices are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9491181
Abstract: According to exemplary embodiments, networked object management software, devices, systems and methods are described which use social mapping principles to streamline interactions between users and their networked objects, as well as between the networked objects themselves. Friendship relationships are established, by a network management system, between a plurality of the networked objects, each of the plurality of networked objects being associated with a use. When the network management system receives a task request, it can then assign the requested task to one of the plurality of networked objects which has a capability to perform the requested task and which also has an established friendship relationship with the user.

  • Patent number: 9237062
Abstract: A resource management node is disclosed that manages a plurality of resource nodes connected to at least one network. The resource management node includes a system entity database, an interaction flow database, and an interaction execution engine. The system entity database contains information identifying communication addresses for the resource nodes and associated metadata identifying capabilities of the resource nodes. The interaction flow database contains information defining data flows that are permitted between identified ones of the resource nodes and associated triggering criteria defining when identified ones of the data flows are to be performed. The interaction execution engine is configured to determine that one of the triggering criteria defined by the interaction flow database is satisfied and to respond by establishing the associated data flow between the identified ones of the resource nodes.

  • Publication number: 20150046830
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for enabling a first device (100) to interact with a second device (102) for usage of functionality in the second device. When the first device detects (1:1) that it is present within a limited distance (102a) from the second device by means of a local wireless link, the first device sends (1:2) a request to a social network manager (104) to establish a temporary trusted connection with the second device. The first device then obtains (1:5) profile information regarding the second device from the social network manager based on the trusted connection, and adapts (1:6) its user interface based on the profile information. A user is then able to execute the interaction between the first and second devices via the social network manager by means of the adapted user interface.

Abstract: A method performed by a network management node for offering an object for sale is disclosed. The network management node receives a sales offering request message from a user equipment, wherein the sales offering request message requests the network management node to offer a specific object for sale. In a subsequent step, information about the specific object is gathered from a unique network entity profile associated with the specific object, i.e. the object intended for sale. A sales ad is thereafter generated in step. The sales ad is generated on the basis of the gathered information about the object. Embodiments of the present invention presented herein also relate to methods, network management nodes, user equipments, systems, computer programs and computer program products for offering an object for sale.
