  • Publication number: 20230322086
Abstract: A method for discharging a capacitor. An active discharge circuit is connected in parallel with the capacitor. An interface provides a signal connection between a message-based communication system and the active discharge circuit. The interface comprises at least one input for receiving messages from the message-based communication system. The interface comprises a wake-up functionality. The at least one input comprises an input for the wake-up functionality. The method comprises: receiving at the input for the wake-up functionality a disable discharge command message of said messages for the disabling of the discharge of the capacitor, wherein upon cessation of the disable discharge command message the discharge of the capacitor is enabled. • Patent number: 11174810
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, system, and computer program product for diagnosing an exhaust gas processing configuration for a combustion engine of a vehicle, said configuration comprising two SCR-units, two NOx-sensors and two reducing agent dosing units suitably arranged, comprising the steps of: performing a series of reducing agent dosing operations by a first reducing agent dosing unit; comparing measured NOx-contents measured by a first NOx-sensor and a second NOx-sensor related to said operations; and if the respective NOx-content measured by the respective NOx-sensors during the performed reducing agent dosing operations are substantially equal, determining that the respective NOx-sensors provide a proper performance.

  • Patent number: 11111837
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for adapting control of a reducing agent dosing unit in a reducing agent provision system for emission control of a combustion engine. Characteristics relating to pressure variations associated with a dosing cycle are used for determining a first time period and a second time period. The time periods relate to a delay between activation of dosing and de-activation of dosing, respectively. The first time period and second time period are used for adapting operation of said reducing agent dosing unit.

  • Publication number: 20170122177
Abstract: A system for the transfer of fluid in a vehicle includes a main tank (4), a secondary tank (5), a pump (6), a first valve arrangement (11) and a several fluid pathways (13, 15, 17). In response to a control signal, the system is placed into a first condition, in which the first valve arrangement (11) is in a first condition, in which the pump (6) transfers the fluid from the secondary tank (5) to the main tank (4) through the valve arrangement (11), or into a second condition, in which the first valve arrangement (11) is in a second condition and the fluid pathways are blown clean from fluid. Also, a method for transfer of fluid in a system intended for a vehicle is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20160291075
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for diagnosis of a solenoid valve, wherein said solenoid valve comprises a solenoid and a moveable valve element, wherein said moveable valve element is moveable between a first state and a second state, wherein the movement from said first state to said second state is achieved through supply of current to said solenoid. The method comprises: to, at a first time, where the current through said solenoid is increasing, determine a first derivative for said current, to, at a second time, following said first time, and where the current through said solenoid is increasing, determine a second derivative for said current, and to, based on a comparison between said first derivative and said second derivative, diagnose said solenoid valve.
