  • Publication number: 20100270315
Abstract: A portable container that has a rugged outer shell to protect the contents within, along with an a insulating layer to protect the contents from thermal damage. The portable container can optionally have internal compartments with specific shapes to accommodate specific items, or a soft compliant inner layer that can accommodate a variety of shapes through the use of foam layers that provide physical protection for the item without having shape constraints. Optionally, the insulating layer can be made to commercially available material, such as “blue ice” that can be pre-chilled in a refrigerator prior to insertion of the item that needs to be protected. An optional temperature sensor and alarm mechanism is also provided to warn the user if the internal temperature has succeeded a predetermined limit.

  • Publication number: 20070034656
Abstract: An expandable and foldable clothesline apparatus adapted to attach to a vehicle hitch via a trailer coupler. The trailer coupler connects to a ball unit and a ball mount. The ball mount is attached to a horizontal member having a first end and a second end. Two pivoting arms attach to the horizontal member at the first and second ends via pivot joints. Each pivoting arm has a free end and is rotated about its respective pivot joint to an extended and open position, allowing a number of lines to be secured between the pivoting arms for hanging clothing. An expandable and collapsible clothesline apparatus adapted to attach to a vehicle hitch via a trailer coupler. The trailer coupler connects to a ball unit and a ball mounting plate. The ball mounting plate is attached to a horizontal member having a first end and a second end. Two pivoting arms attach to the horizontal member at the first and second ends via pivot joints.

  • Patent number: 6695674
Abstract: A game call friction material is disclosed. Airfloated clay powder is heated to a temperature of greater than approximately 1112° F. to form a calcined clay powder that is then mixed with water and a carrier such as plaster and set to form a solid mass. The volume ratio of plaster to calcined clay in the solid mass is approximately 150:1. The solid mass preferably has a cavity with a second mass of calcined clay and plaster disposed therein. The volume ratio of calcined clay to plaster in the second mass is approximately 3:1. The solid mass is rubbed against a friction game call, depositing calcined clay particles and plaster particles thereon. The calcined clay particles form friction layers on the relevant surfaces of the friction game calls. The plaster helps to dry the friction game call surfaces and to form the friction layers on the friction game call surfaces.

  • Patent number: 6085806
Abstract: An oil drain kit for collecting used motor oil comprising an oil drain collection pan, having a bottom wall raised at the center and sloping to its marginal extremity where it is joined with a side wall having a radial flange at the top of the wall and which extends circumferentially thereabout with a downwardly extending edge portion. The bottom wall is provided at its extremity adjacent its junction with the side wall with at least three discharge openings, each with a funnel spout extending downwardly therefrom. The spouts are adapted to receive the necks of empty oil containers which connect therewith and serve as supporting legs for the drain collection pan. A tray receives the containers when placed therein and facilitates sliding the kit under the oil drain plug of a motor to collect used oil draining therefrom and for removing it when draining is completed.

  • Patent number: 5377613
Abstract: A submersible boat is provided which utilizes a planing boat hull with a sharp bow and blunt stern. The submersible boat performs as a planing boat until it nears the target location. Then, the boat submerges in order to avoid detection. After this vessel submerges, it travels with the blunt end forward and the sharp end aft.
