Abstract: An online web portal and method of providing exercise through interactive Internet access. The method generally comprises the steps of subscribing users and requiring them to input user attributes such as sex, height and weight; logging subscribed users into the web portal; providing a library of exercise content including a plurality of animated exercise routines (authored in advance using an animated personal coach); providing an efficient multi-selection method for subscribed users to select a desired exercise routine as efficiently as possible; and providing an animation playback window with motion and volume controls for allowing a subscribing user to control playback of their selected animated exercise routines. With this method subscribers can exercise in a coached format in the privacy of their home. A full calendar feature is provided to allow scheduling and track of exercise routines.
