Abstract: The device for metering a powdered, granular or liquid product, comprises a metering chamber (1) which has a variable volume.The metering chamber (1) comprises a wall (2) which is movable within said chamber. The latter is connected to a lever (4) pivotally mounted on an axis (5). The end of the lever opposite the movable wall (2) is associated with first means (9) allowing the lever to be pivoted about its axis and with second means (10) allowing the ratio of the arms of the lever (4) on either side of its pivotal axis (5) to be varied.For use especially in an apparatus for preparing coffee and for regulating the number of cups and the strength of the coffee.

Abstract: The domestic appliance using a hydrophilic powder comprises a chamber (4) for dispensing the powder and means for transferring the powder to a container (20).Said means comprise a turbine (7) to form a current of air sufficient to propel all the powder from the dispensing chamber (4) to the container (20).Use more particularly for constructing a domestic appliance adapted to prepare a drink from a soluble powder such as coffee and a liquid.

Abstract: The appliance comprises a mixing chamber within which a mechanical beater is rotatably mounted, an oil reservoir, a sliding separator placed beneath the oil reservoir and a mixing chamber placed beneath the separator. Oil is fed from the reservoir to the mixing chamber via a calibrated passage which opens into the mixing chamber in a suction zone created as a result of the centrifugal force produced by the mechanical beater.
