  • Publication number: 20210000140
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to disrupting algae cell walls, in order to obtain protoplast with high nutrient digestibility for use as a food ingredient and/or as feed for farmed fish and shellfish species, which leads to the production of added value sea food items and to more sustainable and better performing food chains. The present disclosure described a method for obtaining proteins or a rich-protein extract from algae, comprising the steps of: disrupting a cell wall of algae by physical-mechanical means using a vibratory grinding mill with rings; submitting the disrupted algae to an enzymatic hydrolysis carried out with a mixture of enzymes; wherein the enzyme mixture is a mixture of at least two enzymes selected from the following list: lipase, pectinase, cellulase, hemicellullase, endo exo-arabanase, amylase, or mixtures thereof; provided that at least one of the enzymes is lipase, pectinase, amylase.

  • Publication number: 20190243205
Abstract: An electrochromic device can include a substrate; an electrochromic layer or a counter electrode layer over the substrate and including a mobile ion; a first transparent conductive layer over the substrate and including Ag. In one embodiment, the electrochromic device can include a barrier layer disposed between first transparent conductive layer and the electrochromic or counter electrode layer. In another embodiment, the electrochromic device can include means for preventing (1) the mobile ion from migrating into the first transparent conductive layer, (2) Ag from migrating into the electrochromic layer or counter electrode layer, or both (1) and (2). A process of forming an electrochromic device can include forming an electrochromic layer or a counter electrode layer over a substrate; forming a barrier layer; and forming a first transparent conductive layer over the substrate.

  • Patent number: 10209600
Abstract: An electrically conducting support for an electrochromic device and its manufacture; the electrically conducting support including, in this order: a substrate, an optional underlayer, a first inorganic layer on the optional underlayer or on the substrate, partially or completely structured in thickness with traversing holes or cavities, an electrode, made of metal grid with strands which exhibit, along their length, a rough central region between less rough lateral regions which are flush with the top surface, an electrically conducting coating made of inorganic material.
