    Abstract: A process for producing polyurethane foam filter material with adsorption capabilities, containing a solid adsorbent, that comprises a one shot process of reacting a polyurethane foam-forming formulation, comprising isocyanates and polyesters or polyethers, catalysts, silicone oils and water, characterized in that particles of the adsorbent material are included directly in the foam-forming formulation, without any surface pretreatment, after cleansing by heating. The resulting filter material can be sliced in plates of various thicknesses according to the intended particular use, and this use can be in air filtering systems, for purification of air or water, ion-exchange, deodorization, drying, prevention of public hazards, or the separation and purification.
