  • Publication number: 20040257181
Abstract: They consist in an external plate (1) which is fit under pressure on a frame (3) by means of prongs (4) which show inclined protrusions to allow they are easily removed. The frame (3) possesses a rectangular central opening (9) which will allow to locate one or more mechanisms while the external plate is provided with one or several related openings (8, 8a, 8b) depending on the mechanisms to be installed that the body (18, 38, 49, 53) shows, the application of base plate of an electrical outlet with two poles, base plate of an electrical outlet with two poles and earth connection, base plate of an electrical outlet in a variation with two pairs of poles with its related earth connection, in the so-called duplex arrangement and base plate for a so-called electrical outlet in duplex arrangement provided with differential GFCI, all those base provided with a safety plate .

  • Patent number: 6469249
Abstract: A cover for electrical devices has a cover element rotatable about a rotation axis; elements provided in two areas at a distance to each other defining the rotation axis, the elements being adapted to be integral with a frame of a body of the device and the cover element, so as to allow the cover element to take two limit positions including a position in which the cover element is folded against the frame and a position in which it is perpendicular to the frame.

  • Publication number: 20020085370
Abstract: A illuminable plate-frame assembly for drive elements on electric and electronic mechanisms includes a plate-frame made of translucent or transparent material and a mounting plate having a central embossment. The plate-frame is formed so as to interlockingly engage the central embossment. An electroluminescent sheet is disposed between the plate-frame and the mounting plate, with the electroluminiscent sheet extending to the perimeters of the plate-frame and the mounting plate when the plate-frame and said mounting plate are fitted together. The assembly also includes means for providing an electric current to said electroluminescent sheet, such as a connector, which in turn, is connected to an energy source on the mechanism. The electric current triggers the electroluminescent sheet and causes a luminic release, which illuminates the plate-frame assembly so that an observer can determine the position and location of the plate-frame assembly and the drive mechanism positioned within the plate-frame assembly.

  • Publication number: 20020056628
Abstract: An illuminable key or pushbutton assembly for electric and electronic mechanisms includes a key-support base member, a cover portion made of translucent or transparent material which is sized to entirely cover the key-support base member, and an electroluminescent sheet mounted on the key-support base member and disposed between the key-support base member and the cover. The electroluminescent sheet is connected to means for providing an electric current, such as a contact on the mechanism itself. The electric current triggers the electroluminescent sheet and causes a luminic release, and the luminic release thereby illuminates the cover portion so that an observer can determine the position and location of the key or pushbutton assembly, as well as the electric or electronic mechanism. In a preferred form, the assembly includes a semi-opaque, exchangeable mask disposed between the electroluminescent sheet and the cover.
