  • Publication number: 20250043837
Abstract: A motor vehicle disk brake has a sleeve which is manufactured from elastomer for the purpose of sealing a gap between the bolt and the brake holder. The sleeve has ribs lying against the bolt. The ribs are arranged parallel to the axis of the bolt and are odd in number. A release operation of the motor vehicle disk brake is assisted by the sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20230193965
Abstract: A motor vehicle disk brake friction lining 1 with a wire helical spring in the form of a hold-down spring is mounted with a clamping fit and in a straddling position radially from the outside on a spring saddle. The wire helical spring is formed from a non-rusting, alloyed steel wire material; rust-protected steel wire material. The spring may be a surface-treated steel wire material, for example sheathed, painted, coated or the like. Lims of the spring engage with shaped profiles over a central protrusion of a carrier plate such that support portions are arranged substantially centrally in alignment with a longitudinal axis through the carrier plate. A height level of said support portions is arranged, substantially radially below the height level of the protrusion in relation to the radial axis.

  • Patent number: 9657793
Abstract: A friction lining with a wire bow spring including leg springs for the radially clastic support of the friction lining on a housing bridge of a brake caliper, wherein the back plate has a receptacle for a friction-lining wear sensor, and wherein a steel wire bow spring is a symmetrical to at least one longitudinal axis, and the wire bow spring is symmetrical to an imaginary transverse axis arranged rotated by a 90° with respect to the longitudinal axis, wherein the steel wire bow has a central U-bow for the friction-lining wear sensor, and wherein the U-bow is designed to be open at the top, the friction-lining wear sensor is accommodated integrated in the central U-bow and the U-bow is substantially larger than the friction-lining wear sensor, and therefore the friction-lining wear sensor can be mounted in the radial direction in the receptacle in the back plate.

  • Publication number: 20170114849
Abstract: A guiding system for a brake piston of a motor-vehicle disk brake comprises a brake piston, a cylindrical brake-piston bore for accommodating the brake piston in a housing in such a way that the brake piston can be axially displaced, and a ring seal supported in the housing in an axially immovable manner, which ring seal is elastically clamped between a cylindrical brake-piston wall and a recess in the brake-piston bore. In order to improve the NVH behavior in the avoidance of disturbing noises of motor-vehicle disk brakes, a reversibly elastically preloaded guiding means is clamped between the brake-piston bore and the brake-piston wall, which guiding means is supported on the housing and couples the brake piston to the brake-piston bore in such a way that the brake piston is oriented in a specific manner.
