  • Patent number: 8267139
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a laminated mould part, preferably of a mould part for the inner trim of a vehicle, consisting of a shape-stable carrier part and a visible-side lamination connected to this, of film, fabrics or similar decorative lamination materials, with which a heated blank of a mat-like or plate-like semifinished product of fibre materials containing binding agent, is moulded into a mould part in a moulding tool, and thereby simultaneously is connected to the lamination (one-shot method). The lamination is regionally connected with the help of “rams” before the moulding procedure or lamination procedure with the semifinished product, in order to achieve an exact positioning of a seam or likewise.

  • Publication number: 20110008608
Abstract: A composite molding, in particular for furniture construction, comprises a core layer and one or more further layers, where the core layer takes the form of a molded-foam molding, obtainable via fusion of prefoamed foam beads composed of expandable, thermoplastic polymer pellets comprising from 5 to 100% by weight of an AMSAN component (A) comprising a1) from 5 to 100% by weight (based on A) of a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer a2) from 0 to 95% by weight (based on A) of an ?-methylstyrene-acrylonitrile copolymer and/or ?-methylstyrene-styrene-acrylonitrile terpolymer; from 0 to 95% by weight of polystyrene (B), and from 0 to 95% by weight of a thermoplastic polymer (C) different from (A) and (B).

  • Publication number: 20100190877
Abstract: Bead foam moldings obtainable by fusing prefoamed foam beads composed of expandable thermoplastic polymer granules, comprising from 5 to 100% by weight of a component (A) comprising a1) from 5 to 100% by weight (based on (A)) of an ?-methylstyrene/acrylonitrile copolymer and/or ?-methylstyrene/styrene/acrylonitrile terpolymer and a2) from 0 to 95% by weight (based on (A)) of a styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer; from 0 to 95% by weight of polystyrene (B) and from 0 to 95% by weight of a thermoplastic polymer (C) other than (A) and (B), feature good thermal and solvent stability.

  • Publication number: 20050019561
Abstract: The invention concerns a profiled part and aggregates for making same. The aggregates contain a material for plastic matrix technique and an adherence promoter. Regenerated cellulose fiber elements are incorporated in the matrix material. The characteristic profile of a profiled part made from such aggregates corresponds substantially to that of profiled PC/ABS parts, the profiled part of the invention being, however, capable of being produced at a more advantageous cost, being more recyclable and being, moreover, capable of being shaped at lower temperatures.

  • Publication number: 20040266292
Abstract: A fibre mat as intermediate in the production of moulded pieces with preferably the same wall thickness is disclosed, comprising fibres made overwhelmingly of cellulose which are pressed together with a plastic in a homogeneous mixture. The plastic is in the form of fire with a length in the range of 30-100 mm and the cellulose fibres have a length of 10-100 mm. The cellulose fibres preferably comprise natural fibres, formed from, flax, sisal, hemp, kenaf, technical viscose fibres or mixtures thereof, or from regenerated cellulose, particularly synthetic cellulose obtained from wood.
