  • Publication number: 20170096368
Abstract: The present invention relates to a three component composition consisting of a polyol component (A) comprising at least two polyols, one with high and one with low molecular weight, and water, a polyisocyanate component (B) comprising a methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) product with an average NCO functionality of at least 2.5, or a methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) product with an average NCO functionality of at least 2 and at least one further polyol with an amount of between 1% and 30% based on the weight of said polyisocyanate component (B), wherein said MDI product and said polyol have reacted at least partially, and a powder component (C) comprising at least one hydraulic binder, preferably cement and/or calcined paper sludge, preferably a calcium compound selected from calcium hydroxide and/or calcium oxide, and optionally one or more aggregates.

  • Publication number: 20170036960
Abstract: A multi-component composition including A) a polyol component (A) including at least one polyol and water, B) a hardener component (B) including at least one polyisocyanate, and C) a solid component (C) including a hydraulic binder and one or more aggregates, as an early water resistant construction or repair material for constructing, repairing or refurbishing component parts, wherein the mixed and applied multi-component composition is immersed in water not later than 8 hours, preferably not later than 2 hours, after application. The use as an early water resistant construction or repair material is especially suitable for component parts, which are in contact with water during operation such as offshore wind energy plants or water retaining systems, e.g. pipelines.

  • Publication number: 20160244980
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a flooring or a coating with an inlay pattern on a substrate is disclosed which includes: a) preparing one or more inlays with an inlay material by an additive manufacturing process using a digital fabricator on the substrate at a predetermined position or predetermined positions, or on a second substrate different from the substrate to be provided with the flooring or coating; and b1) applying a curable flooring composition on the portions of the substrate not covered by the one or more inlays prepared, and curing the flooring composition, or b2) preparing a flooring by an additive manufacturing process, or b3) applying a curable coating composition on the substrate and the one or more inlays, and curing the coating composition.

  • Patent number: 9420686
Abstract: A coating system on a substrate for the protection against electrostatic discharge, includes in the following order a) an undercoat on the substrate, b) a non-dissipative synthetic resin layer and c) a dissipative synthetic resin layer having a resistance to ground according to VDE-0100-410 of at least 100 kohm, wherein a grounding device for grounding the coating system is arranged between the dissipative synthetic resin layer and the non-dissipative synthetic resin layer. The coating system can be a floor coating system. In this way, systems having low TVOC emission can be formed. This system structure is also suitable for the simple conversion of existing, purely insulating coating structures into systems with ESD capability, and the system structure can be very easily renewed if renovation is required because of wear.

  • Publication number: 20160075600
Abstract: The present application relates to a multi-component composition comprising a polyol component comprising one or more polyols and water, a polyisocyanate component comprising methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI), a powder component comprising cement, calcium hydroxide and one or more aggregates and less than 0.5 wt.-%, based on the total weight of the polyol, polyisocyanate and the powder component, of a curing accelerator component comprising an amino alcohol and an acid. Polyurethane cementitious hybrid flooring or coating systems having an improved curing speed and enhanced aesthetic properties in that they show substantially no difference in colour shade can be achieved. Blister formation can be avoided.
