  • Publication number: 20170082140
Abstract: A method produces a mechanical device, in particular an exhaust gas turbocharger. The turbo charger contains an open-loop or closed-loop control device and a mechanical transmission element which is connected directly or indirectly to an actuator on one side and to an adjusting element on the other side, for transmitting a manipulated variable. The transmission element can be deformed prior to the connection to the actuator and the adjusting element and can be adapted in its deformable state to the other components of the device. After the adaptation, the transmission element is fixed by reducing the deformability thereof. The transmission element can be stiffened after the assembly and adaptation. The compensation of tolerances is made possible in this way with particularly low effort.

  • Patent number: 7843153
Abstract: A control system for controlling an adjustment device which is operated by electric motor in a motor vehicle includes an indirect anti-trapping system for detecting a trapping situation between an adjustment element, which is moved by the adjustment device in an adjustment movement along an adjustment path, and a vehicle element. The anti-trapping system stops or reverses the adjustment movement of the adjustment element if a defined threshold value for a mechanical running parameter—which results from the adjustment movement is exceeded. The anti-trapping system operates with an analysis unit for analyzing the adjustment movement of the adjustment element, wherein the control system is configured and embodied in such a way that by means of the analysis unit, in an analysis mode, the running parameters of the adjustment device can be checked for mechanical functional faults of the adjustment device.

  • Patent number: 7449855
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic controlling device with a computer unit installed to control a regulating device especially a window lifter of a motor vehicle. The computer unit stops or initiates the stop of a regulating motion of the window lifter drive if a signal correlating to the rotary moment of the window lifter drive exceeds a response level. In the setting range of a starting motion from standstill of the window lifter drive, the response level is a setting range dependant and/or time-related dependant preset function with at least one parameter determining the course of this function. The parameter value is modified in dependence from the starting motion of the window lifter drive.

  • Patent number: 7388339
Abstract: An adjustment device as well as a corresponding method for operation of the final control element in a motor vehicle are specified. In this case, a motor is provided for operation of the final control element, a sensor element is provided for detection of a parameter that characterizes the motor and a control unit, which is connected to the sensor element and to the motor, is provided for control of the motor. The control unit is designed to record the profile of a parameter that characterizes the motor, or of a signal that is derived from it, over the actuating movement, to compare the recorded profile with a switching-off threshold that is dependent on the actuating movement, to stop and/or to reverse the drive if the switching-off threshold is exceeded, and to change the switching-off threshold as a function of the time for which the final control element is switched off. This allows reliable jamming protection, in which the probability of spurious detection of jamming is reduced.
