  • Patent number: 9178628
Abstract: An approach for the graphic display of I/Q values of a baseband signal by means of a constellation diagram is provided. The approach comprises: selecting a subset of I/Q values from a set of I/Q values of a baseband signal, wherein the non-selected I/Q values of the set form a non-selected subset; calculating a frequency of occurrence of each I/Q value of the selected subset; assigning display information to each I/Q value of the selected subset, wherein the display information at least corresponds to the respective frequency of occurrence; and displaying, on a display device, the set of I/Q values of the baseband signal in a constellation diagram, based at least in part on the display information, wherein the I/Q values of the non-selected subset is displayed in a different manner from the I/Q values of the selected subset.

  • Patent number: 8297170
Abstract: The invention embodies the turret (10) as a protected cell (1) with its own protective plates (7) and then provides this with an additional casing of protective plates (9) so that both together implement a modular protective construction with different levels of protection. Outside the protected cell (1), assemblies (2) can be arranged that do not need to be within the direct reach of the operator. This can be in addition to the ammunition, the electronics for the ammunition feed, and also the electronics of the turret control or the like. These assemblies (2) are again encased by a lattice structure (8) that serves as an accommodation possibility for other protective elements (9) that form the outer skin of the turret (10).

  • Patent number: 7809019
Abstract: In a method for bonding data fragments, data fragments are delayed in such a manner that a first transmission time for a direct transmission of data fragments between a master line card and a terminal connection via a first group of subscriber lines of a telephone line bundle corresponds to a second transmission time for an indirect transmission of data fragments between the master line card, an uplink card, and a further line card via a second group of subscriber lines of the line bundle.

  • Patent number: 7620745
Abstract: A method transfers data between a memory and peripheral units. The method includes assigning priorities to the data to be transferred, and transferring the data by direct memory access (DMA) control between the memory and the peripheral units in conformity with the priorities assigned in each case.

  • Publication number: 20090120271
Abstract: In order avoid ammunition feed from within a protective cell of a turret (1) or an ammunition magazine, a type of ammunition supply system (6) is disposed around the entire or partial circumference of the turret (1). The ammunition supply system (6) has at least one ammunition channel (10, 11) filled with ammunition (5), whereby a drive (13) is incorporated for the transport of the ammunition (5), if the weapon (3) is not designed to pull the ammunition (5) by itself. In this case, an endless chain (12) works together with the drive (13), wherein the endless chain is movable in two axes. This endless chain enables transport of the ammunition (5) around the radii (R) of the turret (1).

  • Patent number: 7225947
Abstract: The spout seal for combipacks consists of a bottom part (2) and a hinged lid (1) attached to it for opening and closing the seal. The bottom part (2) is fused onto a combipack with its level bottom side. It has a circular, upward-projecting overhang (11), which forms a pouring spout. The inside of the overhang (11) is open. The lid (1) forms a mold (21) that bulges out upwards on it when swiveled open, which forms a level top side that form-fits into the clearance opening (9) surrounded by the projecting lip (11) in the bottom side of the bottom part (2) when swiveled shut. This level top side either lies flush with this bottom side of the bottom part (2) or projects downward from this bottom side by up to 0.5 mm. This top side of the bulge (21) is bonded with the punched-out spot in the combipack or fused with the sealing foil of a combipack exposed through punching. When swiveling the lid (1) open, the sealing foil is cleanly torn out in the entire clearance section of the bottom part (2).

  • Patent number: 6996729
Abstract: A DSL communication apparatus with lifeline functionality is provided, the DSL communication apparatus (3) in particular being suitable for CVoDSL (“Channelized Voice over Digital Subscriber Line”) transmission. The DSL communication apparatus (3) comprises a central processing unit (11) which detects a local power failure state of a local power supply unit (23) being associated with the DSL communication apparatus (3). In this case, the central processing unit (11) changes the operation of the DSL communication apparatus (3) from a normal operation mode to an intermediate operation mode, generates an interrupt for stopping a voice coprocessor unit (8), initializes a download of a lifeline operation firmware from a FLASH memory (12) to the voice coprocessor unit (8), and then starts a new initialization of the voice coprocessor unit (8).
