  • Patent number: 10220876
Abstract: A bearing assembly for bearing a steering shaft includes a bearing housing, a bearing, and a damping disk. The housing has two housing sections. The bearing is integrated into the damping disk. The damping disk is positioned so that an inner wall of a first housing section radially supports a circumferential side of the damping disk, and such that a second housing section is axially supported by the damping disk.

  • Patent number: 6851965
Abstract: A plug-in connecting system for flexible conductor films with film-insulated conductors, including a plug-in unit and a counter plug-in unit, which are each provided on a terminal zone of the conductor film and adapted to be inserted into each other for the purpose of establishing an electrical contact of said film-insulated conductors. The plug-in unit and the counter plug-in unit each have a base body and a top which can be brought into an intimate solid contact via a fixing mechanism in said base body, and that at least one penetration structure is provided between said base body and said top, into which a film-insulated conductor of the terminal zone of the conductor film can be inserted before a contact is established between said top and said base body and which penetrates, at least partly, said film-insulated conductor for fixing and establishment of an electrical contact exclusively by pressing said top against said base body.

  • Patent number: 6417946
Abstract: A transceiver, especially an infrared transceiver, has a flat surface section and at least one or two lens forming housing sections integrally formed with the flat housing section. The lens housing sections are positioned so that one flat surface of the flat housing extends tangentially to the lens housing section or sections while the latter project outside the opposite flat housing surface. The lens housing section or sections are positioned along an edge of the flat housing section. For this purpose the lens forming housing section or sections have a substantially larger diameter (D) than the thickness (d) of the flat housing section. The respective lenses thus may have a substantially larger aperture, thereby increasing the wireless transmission and reception range of optical data transmission signals, in accordance with IRDA standards.

  • Patent number: 5668383
Abstract: A semiconductor device for bidirectional non-conducted optical data transmission by means of electromagnetic waves from within the infrared waveband will be described. The semiconductor device will comprise a transmission chip emitting radiation within the IR waveband, a receiver chip responding to radiation within the IR waveband by emitting a photo-electric current, as well as an integrated circuit for amplifying the photo-electric current of the receiver chip. These three semiconductor chips will be mounted onto a lead frame configuration comprising at least three leads. On the flat side face of the lead frame configuration, the integrated circuit will be located on a first level or plane which is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the lead frame configuration. On the end faces of the leads, the transmission chip and the receiver chip will be located on a second level or plane which runs in a perpendicular direction to the first level or plane.
