  • Publication number: 20240088924
Abstract: Wireless circuitry can include a processor that generates a baseband signal, an upconversion circuit that upconverts the baseband signals to a radio-frequency signal, and an amplifier that amplifies the radio-frequency signal. A tunable delay circuit can be used to selectively delay generation of the radio-frequency signal or to delay generation of another signal intended for the radio-frequency amplifier. The tunable delay circuit can be controlled using a closed-loop delay adaptation scheme. A feedback receiver that is coupled to an output of the amplifier can be used to generate a demodulated signal. A delay error measurement circuit can be used to receive the demodulated signal, to detect a peak by monitoring when an envelope of the demodulated signal crosses a threshold level, to compute an amount of asymmetry in the detected peak, and to output a signal that is used to control the tunable delay circuit.

  • Publication number: 20220051834
Abstract: The present invention concerns a layer structure comprising: a substrate having a glass or ceramic surface, a layer A at least partially covering the glass or ceramic surface of the substrate, wherein layer A comprises a glass in which at least two mutually different elements are contained as oxides, and a layer B at least partially covering the layer A. Layer B comprises: a resistance alloy having a temperature coefficient of electrical resistance less than 150 ppm/K, and optionally a glass containing at least two mutually different elements as oxides. Layer B contains not more than 20 weight percent of glass based on the total weight of layer B.

  • Patent number: 6460934
Abstract: An electric adjusting device for a front seat of a motor vehicle, with which the front seat can be displaced at least in the longitudinal direction by means of an electric motor is provided. In the present invention, a forwards displacement of the front seat is requested by folding the seat back forwards (entry assistance). According to the invention, a changeover switch which is coupled to the release lever is provided. The changeover switch having to be actuated at the same time as the seat back is folded forwards, if it is intended for the seat to be displaced by means of an electric motor in order to facilitate entry.

  • Patent number: 4486123
Abstract: An underwater pipe laying vessel for laying a continuous pipeline, applying what is known as the "J" shape pipe laying method, uses shorter lengths of pipeline welded together on board end to end to form pipe assemblies; the pipe assemblies are stored and subsequently transported to a pipe laying boom unit which guides pipe assemblies to be welded end to end to a pipeline which is already in the "process of laying" under the vessel. The pipe laying boom is located substantially in the center of the vessel and is swivelled about a horizontal axis which is perpendicular to the length of the vessel; the boom includes a flash butt welder and an underlying jacketing-unit for suitably treating a welded surface of the pipeline to prevent subsequent corrosion; a pipeline section guide and pipeline section support located under the jacketing-unit assist in supporting and guiding the treated pipeline for proper positioning.
