Patent number: 11311018Abstract: A method and a device for separating shirred casing sticks, where a row R1 with a first number of consecutively disposed shined casing sticks in a shined casing stick storage is pushed in a first stroke cycle by a pusher along a sloped plane in the direction of a separation edge and one after the other over the separation edge and, once the last shined casing stick of the row has been pushed over the separation edge, the pusher moves back along the sloped plane and takes a row R2 with a second number of consecutively disposed shined casing sticks and pushes them in a further stroke cycle in the direction towards the separation edge, characterized in that a control device determines the filling level of shined casing sticks in the shined casing stick storage from the number of shined casing sticks pushed over the separation edge.Type: GrantFiled: July 24, 2020Date of Patent: April 26, 2022Assignee: ALBERT HANDTMANN MASCHINENFABRIK GMBH & CO. Patent number: 10233860Abstract: A method for starting an internal combustion engine with a fuel tank and a low-pressure pump which pumps gasoline out of the fuel tank at a low-pressure to a high-pressure pump that pumps the gasoline at a high-pressure to injectors of the internal combustion engine. An electronic controller is provided for controlling and/or regulating the low-pressure pump, the high-pressure pump, and the injectors. After a start pulse for the internal combustion engine, the method: checks whether a formation of vapor bubbles in the gasoline is possible on the low-pressure side during a hot start. If not possible, then the normal low-pressure is set. If possible, then a low pressure which is high enough that the formation of vapor bubbles is not possible on the low-pressure side is set, and the normal low-pressure is set after a period of time. The problem of vapor bubble formation is prevented in an inexpensive or cost neutral manner via the method.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 2017Date of Patent: March 19, 2019Assignee: Bayerische Motoren Werke AktiengesellschaftInventors: Stefan Detterbeck, Johannes Geiger, Thomas Scheuer, Tobias Holzinger, Jochen Merk
