The measuring device is associated with the motor, and is operable to ascertain measurement data that characterizes the motor current consumption by the motor in the positioning of the load. The evaluation device evaluates the measurement data that have been ascertained by the measuring device, so that in that way the loading of the positioning device by the load can be ascertained.

The x-ray system includes an x-ray emitter which can be adjusted by at least one arm as a first x-ray component and a recording system which can be adjusted independently of the at least one arm. The recording system may be adjusted by at least one additional arm as the further x-ray component. The two arms can be pivotably mounted about a common axis of rotation.

A particularly simple and stable mechanism for adjusting the shockwave head is obtained in which the support device (8) has a first adjustment unit (20) that can be moved linearly for horizontal adjustment of the shockwave head (6), a second adjustment unit (24) that can be moved linearly for adjusting the height of the shockwave head (6), and a rotary adjustment unit (22) for rotating the shockwave head (6).

Abstract: A method for automatically correcting the position of a patient support for a targeted irradiation of a patient is provided. The patient support correction is carried out according to patient data. A patient support deformation occurring as a result of the positioning the patient on the couch is calculated from the patient data. The position of the patient couch is then adjusted according to the calculated patient support deformation for a targeted irradiation. The method enables a more accurate irradiation of patient.

Abstract: An X-ray detector drawer, into which an X-ray detector is insertable in two alternate orientations, has guide elements by which an inserted X-ray detector is fixedly positioned and oriented. The X-ray detector drawer has a securing device, by which an asymmetrical insertion of an X-ray detector with respect to either one of the two alternate orientations is hindered. The securing device includes a blocking element, whose position is altered as a function of the removal of the X-ray detector drawer. A receptacle for the X-ray detector drawer is configured to facilitate a removal the X-ray detector drawer from either of two opposite directions.
