  • Patent number: 6891952
Abstract: This invention report describes the architecture of a system, which undertakes in a new way the dynamic generation of symmetrical keys and the confidential synchronization of encryption components which use these keys. The basis is formed by the principle of the one-time-pad, with which absolute confidentiality can be ensured in theory. The difficulties with practical implementation of a pure one-time-pad can be avoided by expansions.

  • Patent number: 6892219
Abstract: The present invention describes a system and method for ascertaining and displaying connection-related performance data. Performance data in networks, in particular in the application area of WWW applications, such as web browsers, for example, is ascertained and displayed. The technical feasibility of expanding HTML documents retrospectively to include performance data, such as loading speed or time, is integrated into the layout of the referenced document. The performance data can be expanded in a proxy, which adds a loading speed or time to be expected to the document to be forwarded.

  • Patent number: 6662182
Abstract: The present invention describes a method and a system for the specific supply of internet information to closed user groups. Direct access to data in the internet from internal-company networks does not always make sense for reasons of security and productivity. To enable employees to access current internet information without these disadvantages, a management system is proposed in the present invention which replicates onto a local web server only data of the internet which are relevant to company employees selectively, automatically and taking the specific characteristics of web documents into account. The documents can be rearranged in a manner independent of the internet and are thereby easier to find and more rapidly accessible to the user. The information is updated repeatedly at certain intervals. The users thus always have access to the latest information.

  • Patent number: 5745380
Abstract: Disclosed are a method, a system and a device for the transmission of multimedia streams via telecommunication lines. Especially, the disclosure relates to information transfer in video or audio teleconferences. The invention provides a scale of priorities for active transmission of the streams, wherein the priority status of each stream is changed dynamically with respect of attributes of substreams of the multimedia streams. Only the streams with the highest priority levels are actively transmitted.
