  • Publication number: 20240120792
Abstract: A rotor of an electric asynchronous machine including a shaft, a rotor core and short-circuit rings attached to end faces of the rotor core. The shaft has an outer lateral radial surface, a cavity extending axially, at least one passageway located on the lateral surface, and at least one channel connecting the cavity to the passageway. The rotor core has at least one channel extending therein. At least one of the short-circuit rings is composed of at least two ring-shaped disks interconnected to form a disk pack. At least one disk of at least one short-circuit ring has recesses arranged such that a channel structure is formed in the short-circuit ring and is in fluidic connection with at least one channel of the rotor core and fluidically connects the at least one passageway on the shaft lateral surface to at least one channel of the rotor core.

  • Publication number: 20230114436
Abstract: A method is presented, which includes trapping a charged particle at a first position using an electromagnetic trap and providing a static magnetic field at the first position such that a qubit transition of the charged particle is defined, and providing, using an entangling electrode, an oscillating magnetic field. The oscillating magnetic field present at the first position does not contain a polarisation component which directly couples to the qubit transition. The oscillating magnetic field has a spatial gradient at the first position, of the polarisation component of the oscillating magnetic field which couples the qubit transition to the motion of the charged particle.

  • Patent number: 8375580
Abstract: A method for manufacturing cams for composite camshafts with the steps hot-forming a cam 11 such that a cam outside contour is produced and a cam bore 13 is punched and axially and radially calibrating the cam 11, wherein the calibration comprises the steps inserting the cam into an undivided mold 21 that defines the calibrated cam outside contour 12, inserting an arbor 23 into the cam bore 13 that defines the calibrated cam bore 13, and axially shortening the cam 11 between a lower die 22 that is situated between the mold 21 and the arbor 23 and on which the cam 11 lies with a first end face 14 and an upper die 25 that is guided between the mold 21 and the arbor 23 and acts upon the second end face 15 of the cam 11.

  • Publication number: 20080222889
Abstract: A method of producing assembled camshafts from a tubular member and components slid on to same and having through-holes and outer functional faces, wherein the components are provided with through-holes which have been machined by non-chip-forming operations and on which an outer contour is preferably finish-machined; wherein the tubular member can be clamped in so as to be centred on a reference axis B; wherein the components are slid on and are centred via their outer contour on the reference axis of the clamping means of the tubular member; wherein, between the through-holes and the tubular member, a compensating and joining gap is provided and wherein; between the components and the tubular member with material being added, a material locking connection or a press fit connection is provided by expanding the tubular member.

  • Publication number: 20080070708
Abstract: An assembled camshaft comprising a tubular shaft and a plurality of components each provided with a through-aperture, more particularly cams which have been slid on to the tubular shaft and are fixed thereon at a distance from one another, wherein, between the components, the tubular shaft comprises inwardly formed side indentations, wherein at least individual indentations extend underneath at least one of the components.
