  • Patent number: 9289059
Abstract: A lap cushion, for supporting an electronic device on a users lap, provides thermal insulation and cooling airflow between the electronic device and the user. The cushion further includes a shield positioned between the top surface and the electronic device where the shield is electrically-conductive and electrically-grounded so as to provide radiation absorption of RF electromagnetic radiation emanating from the electronic device.

Date of Patent: March 22, 2016
    Assignee: Digital Innovations LLC
    Inventors: Kara Lineal, Joe Born
  • Publication number: 20160006851
Abstract: A cellular telephone interface and generalized dock that is particularly adapted for use with ANDROIDâ„¢ telephones which can also connect a wide variety of other mobile telephones to different types of docks, alarm clocks, music platforms and other external devices. Data and audio can both be transmitted via the telephone's headphone jack through a single cable supplying an audio path for playing music and other audio applications as well as a data path for control. An API can be supplied to run on the telephone that allows user applications to interface a wide range of docking and control functions. The API provides a command set with commands that can control a generalized dock and monitor its status.

  • Publication number: 20150137956
Abstract: A universal console using infra-red (IR) technology allows users to consolidate their remote control devices to a single universal device that can control a PC, DVD, games, TV, and other IR coupled devices. It further has the benefit of being highly power efficient and thus allowing the use of batteries without needed to be recharged or replaced for many months. Through the use of different dongles (and different configurations) different models can be offered for use on game consoles, smart TVs, and other connected devices.

  • Publication number: 20040034441
Abstract: According to the invention there is provided a method for creating an audio index. It is firstly determined that a computer disc contains at least one audio track. Subsequently, audio identification data associated with the at least one audio track is obtained using digital fingerprinting. An index is thereafter created, where the index is based on the audio identification data. To obtain the audio identification data a sample of the at least one audio track is recorded and transmitted to a remote identification server for identification using digital fingerprinting. The audio identification data is thereafter received from the remote identification server. The remote server identifies the at least one audio track based on the sample.
