Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for monitoring functionality of a refrigeration system. A method may include periodically exercising a refrigeration system to test the refrigeration system. The method may further include monitoring operation of the exercised refrigeration system. The method may additionally include determining, based at least in part on the monitoring, whether the exercised refrigeration system is malfunctioning. The method may also include causing a notification to be provided in an instance in which it is determined that the exercised refrigeration system is malfunctioning. Corresponding apparatuses and computer program products are also provided.
