  • Publication number: 20210324586
Abstract: A PV panel assembly includes a PV panel and a frame. The PV panel includes one or more PV cells and is operable to provide electrical power at a panel output terminal in response to operating light incident on a panel upper surface. The frame extends along the panel peripheral edge and defines a frame inside surface which, together with a lower panel surface, defines a base volume. A molded base material is located in the base volume. A light-transmissive cover material extends over the panel first surface and over at least a portion of a frame outside surface which faces away from the base volume. The PV panel assembly may be incorporated in a landscape installation and connected with other such assemblies in the installation to provide a ground mounted PV panel array which also functions as a hardscape such as a walkway or patio.

  • Patent number: 7798746
Abstract: An ornamental planting landscape irrigation distribution and reservoir product and method ecosystem employing a substantially continuous panel on the soil surface on which ornamental landscape plantings are placed or produced, the panel having a primary, lateral water distribution structure which distributes water from a water charging inlet through the lateral area to the panel periphery, where it is restrained, the primary water distribution structure being such that when filled with water or completely submerged in water, air is trapped by the gaps and spaces of the material for ornamental landscape plant usage.

  • Publication number: 20040065012
Abstract: A water and air retaining flower and landscape planter pot for display inside and outside of the home which provides adequate reservoir of air and water for the sustenance of these plants with extended times between required waterings. The novel planter pot also does not require drain holes to keep adequate air within the growing structure.

  • Publication number: 20040020109
Abstract: A turfgrass or landscape planting moisture and air reservoir, base soil weed germination preventor, and insect soil movement preventor employing a substantially continous dimensional reticulated panel on the soil surface which turf grass or ornamental landscape plantings are placed or produced, the panel allowing the turf grass and ornamental landscape planting roots to go downward through it but not allowing the leaf or stem area of weeds sprouting from the base soil to move up through it and also not allowing insects to move up or down through it and holding air and water within its area for the turf grass or ornamental plant roots growing through the pane material.
