  • Patent number: 11947780
Abstract: A method at an electronic device with a display includes: displaying a user interface having a first region and a second region; receiving, and displaying in the first region of the user interface, a live video stream of a physical environment captured by a remote video camera; displaying, in the second region, a timeline corresponding to a timespan for a first portion of a duration during which the live video stream may have been recorded; in response to receiving a user interaction to move the timespan to a second portion of the duration, transitioning the displayed timeline to a new timeline that corresponds to the timespan for the second portion, and while transitioning, displaying, in the first region, a subset of video frames representing the first and/or second portion of the duration.

  • Patent number: 11542942
Abstract: In some examples, a scroll compressor may include an orbiting scroll and a fixed scroll having spiral involutes intermeshed together. A slider block may be disposed on the eccentric portion of a main shaft and the slider block may be attached to a compliant counterweight. The counterweight may be supported by a counterweight guide plate that is supported by the main shaft. The counterweight guide plate may also have an arm securing a top portion of the counterweight thereby securing the slider block. In some implementations, a spring assembly may be provided between an outer edge of the counterweight and the counterweight guide plate. These components may, in part, allow for a constant involute contact between the fixed scroll and orbiting scroll involutes at high speeds thereby achieving high compression efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20210072960
Abstract: Example implementations relate to specifying a model-driven architecture for user-centered design. In an example implementations, a meta-language for the user-centered design may be defined, and a user-experience for a specified domain may be captured. A platform-independent representation of the user-centered design may be exported, and the platform-independent representation may be transformed into a platform-specific representation of the user-centered design that is executable on a targeted runtime platform.

  • Patent number: 10920776
Abstract: A rotary compressor that may include an upper or outboard bearing above the motor components and, in this case, includes an upper bearing plate having a structure that ensures bearing alignment when press fit with an upper cap and a center shell. In some implementations, a main bearing frame that secures and holds a main bearing has a structure that when press fit with a lower cap and center shell ensure bearing alignment. Some implementations include disposing a hermetic terminal and a discharge port a the side of the upper cap or center shell.

  • Publication number: 20180121172
Abstract: Example implementations relate to specifying models of an architectural type. In an example implementation, a domain model of the architectural type is captured and a meta-language for the architectural type is defined. A platform-independent representation of the domain model may be exported. The platform-independent representation of the domain model may be transformed into a platform-specific representation of the domain model that is executable on a targeted runtime platform.

  • Publication number: 20110184934
Abstract: A method for compressing an initial dataset may be implemented on a data processing system. The method may include generating a group of bootstrap samples of wavelet coefficients from the initial dataset using a wavelet basis function. An average quantile of the group of bootstrap samples of wavelet coefficients may be determined. The group of wavelet coefficients may be compressed by deleting initial wavelet coefficients having magnitudes less than the coefficient cutoff value equal to the average quantile. The compressed group of wavelet coefficients and the wavelet basis function may be used to approximate the initial dataset.

  • Publication number: 20060232441
Abstract: After-market, detachable warning lights for a reversible highway sign are easily attachable to existing stop/slow highway signs currently in use in highway construction areas. Left and right light boxes are attached to opposite vertical edges of the sign with a pair of red lights on the “stop” side of the sign and a pair of yellow lights on the “slow” side of the sign. A multi-functional switch enables the workman to create a variety of lighting conditions. These conditions could include red and yellow constantly ON; red and yellow blinking; red and yellow strobing slowly; and red and yellow strobing rapidly. In addition, the switch enables the workman to put either set of lights in a particular independent mode thus increasing the variation of the lighting system. For example, the red lights may utilize a constant ON mode while the yellow lights could be slowly strobing. The sign and pole have internal wiring and are supported by a lower base with wheels. The twelve-volt battery supply rides on the base.

  • Publication number: 20050135943
Abstract: A molded compressor base (100) is provided for mounting a compressor without requiring mechanical fasteners. The molded compressor base (100) can be used to mount the compressor in any position ranging from a substantially horizontal position to a substantially vertical position. The molded compressor base (100) includes a mounting area that is designed and configured to secure a compressor placed in the mounting area. The mounting area can be configured for a compressor to be mounted in a substantially horizontal position, a substantially vertical position or any position in between. The molded compressor base (100) can also include one or more isolators to secure the compressor and to isolate vibrations from the compressor from the molded compressor base (100). The molded compressor base (100) can damp sound and/or vibrations generated by the compressor or the molded compressor base (100) can be coated with a sound and/or vibration damping coating.

  • Publication number: 20050100449
Abstract: A compressor diagnostic system incorporates a control which receives a plurality of data streams about various operational features of the compressor. As an example, both temperature and pressure of the suction and discharge refrigerant are taken and sent to the control. Moreover, information with regard to the power being supplied to the motor is taken and stored. All of this information is utilized at a control which compares the information to expected values and determines a fault based upon the evaluation. Moreover, in another feature of this invention, much of this data is stored, and maintained at the compressor. In the event of a compressor failure, this stored information will provide a maintenance worker with a good indication of why the compressor failed.

  • Patent number: 5022624
Abstract: A domestic hot water tank, or the like, is firmly supported against toppling or swaying that may be induced by earthquake activity by a mounting assembly comprising a support bracket adapted to be securely attached to an adjacent building structure, such as a wall, extension arms adjustably positionable along the support bracket, and clamping members carried by the respective extension arms to engage the water tank, particularly at the inlet and outlet pipes that conduct water to and from the tank. The disclosed mounting assembly is characterized by low cost, ease of installation and flexibility of use.
