  • Publication number: 20060182498
Abstract: The present invention is a mobile, in situ applicator system and method for remediating contaminated soils at a site without the removal of those soils. The applicator system comprises a vehicle, preferably a chemical treatment vehicle used in the oil and gas industry, with a remediation fluid and fluid dispensing components for the application of the fluid to contaminated sites.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 4, 2006
    Publication date: August 17, 2006
    Inventor: Joe Hughes

  • Patent number: 6522209
Abstract: Two oscillators, such as in two pulse width modulator circuits of DC to DC power converters, are maintained in synchronization and at a predetermined phase shift from one another by a circuit incorporating a comparator. A sawtooth signal output from the master oscillator is fed to one comparator input while the sawtooth signal is filtered and applied to the second input of the comparator to generate an approximately 180° phase shift turn-on at the output of the comparator that is fed through a driver circuit to an input of a second oscillator. By insuring that the faster operating oscillator is the master, the slave oscillator will be triggered by the signal from the master.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 17, 2001
Date of Patent: February 18, 2003
    Assignee: Texas Instruments Incorporated

  • Patent number: 5573696
Abstract: Additives are produced by (i) reacting an O,O-dihydrocarbyl phosphorodithioic acid with a monoepoxide or mixture of monoepoxides having in the range of 20 to about 30 carbon atoms in the molecule or a vegetable oil epoxide such as epoxidized soybean oil or methyl epoxy soyate, (ii) reacting the product with phosphorus pentoxide to produce an acid phosphate intermediate, and (iii) neutralizing the intermediate with at least one amine. At least 50 mole %, and preferably all, of the hydrocarbyl groups of the O,O-dihydrocarbyl phosphorodithioic acid are secondary acyclic hydrocarbyl groups free of acetylenic unsaturation. The additives are multifunctional in that they have limited slip properties, antiwear/extreme pressure properties, and corrosion inhibiting properties.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 29, 1996
Date of Patent: November 12, 1996
    Assignee: Ethyl Corporation

The balance, if any, of such hydrocarbyl groups are primary acyclic hydrocarbyl groups free of acetylenic unsaturation. The additives are multifunctional in that they have limited slip properties, antiwear/extreme pressure properties, and corrosion inhibiting properties.
