  • Publication number: 20240076769
Abstract: Red rust staining of Al/Zn coated steel strip in “acid rain” or “polluted” environments can be minimised by forming the coating as an Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coating with an OT:SDAS ratio greater than a value of 0.5:1, where OT is the overlay thickness on a surface of the strip and SDAS is the measure of the secondary dendrite arm spacing for the Al-rich alpha phase dendrites in the coating. Red rust staining in “acid rain” or “polluted” environments and corrosion at cut edges in marine environments can be minimised in Al—Zn—Si—Mg alloy coatings on steel strip by selection of the composition (principally Mg and Si) and solidification control (principally by cooling rate) and forming Mg2Si phase particles of a particular morphology in interdendritic channels.

  • Patent number: 11924251
Abstract: A system and method for cybersecurity reconnaissance, analysis, and scoring that uses distributed, cloud-based computing services to provide sufficient scalability for analysis of enterprise IT networks using only publicly available characterizations. The system and method comprise an in-memory associative array which manages a queue of vulnerability search tasks through a public-facing proxy network. The public-facing proxy network has search nodes configurable to present the network to search tools in a desired manner to control certain aspects of the search to obtain the desired results. A distributed data processing engine and cloud-based storage are used to provide scalable computing power and storage. Each of the cloud-based computing services is containerized and orchestrated for management and efficient scaling purposes.

  • Publication number: 20150342280
Abstract: The invention teaches a hat that has an slit formed on a wall that is designed to allow hair or objects attached to not be contacted by a hat when worn. A flap connects to the hat and covers the slit to protect a wearers head from the environment and maintain shape of the hat. In an embodiment, the flap may be interchangeable to change the design of the hat.

  • Patent number: 7586096
Abstract: An interface assembly for a sensor array is provided. The interface assembly may be made up of an integrated circuit package thermally coupled to the sensor array. The interface assembly may include a temperature control system for controlling the temperature of the sensor array. The temperature control system includes a temperature sensor for sensing a temperature variation of each sensor of the sensor array from an initial temperature beyond a predetermined threshold. A temperature controller is coupled to each temperature sensor and receives an output signal from the temperature sensor upon the sensor temperature variation exceeding the predetermined threshold. A temperature correction device is coupled to each temperature controller and causes the sensor temperature variation to fall within the predetermined threshold upon receiving a control signal from the temperature controller.
