  • Patent number: 11935860
Abstract: An interconnect that has an electrically conductive layer, where a first and second insulator layers are coupled with the conductive layer. A region of the conductive layer includes an opening of a portion of the first insulator layer the second insulator layer that are adjacent to the region. An electrical connector of a first device is electrically coupled to a portion of the region on a first side of the conductive layer and an electrical conductor of a second device is electrically coupled with a portion of the region on the second side. Also, an interconnect coupled with a substrate that includes a cylinder extending from a side of the substrate with a plate coupled at the end of the cylinder with an opening that includes two or more tabs of the plate extending into the opening to receive a connector.

  • Patent number: 11599918
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated generation and presentation of thematic content objects to consumers in a retail environment are provided. A portable device may include a transmitter or transceiver that emits, produces or otherwise transmits a signal that includes information and/or data representative of an identifier that uniquely identifies the portable device. Upon entering an establishment thematic content delivery circuitry detects the presence of the portable device and obtains the identifier included in the signal emitted by the portable device. Using the identifier, the thematic content delivery circuitry determines a theme logically associated with the identifier. The thematic content delivery circuitry generates thematic content output that is logically associated with the theme and communicates the thematic content output to an output device. The thematic content output may include display output, audio output, tactile output, hardcopy output, or combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 11029800
Abstract: A search user input mechanism is displayed on a user interface display. User actuation of the search user input mechanism is detected, to identify a query for a navigation structure that identifies an entry point into an application in the computing system. A path navigation hierarchy is searched to identify the entry point and the path in the navigation hierarchy where the entry point is located. A navigable search result is displayed to the user for actuation, to navigate to the entry point.

  • Publication number: 20190102686
Abstract: A system includes a self-learning module for creating a self-learned planogram based on images of shelving units at a location and shelving unit tracking. The self-learned planogram includes shelving unit locations for the shelving units. The system also includes a training module for training the merchandise tracking model based on merchandise-shelving unit clustering. The merchandise-shelving unit clustering is based on the self-learned planogram and sensor readings received from sensors at the location. The sensor readings are associated with items at the location. The system further includes a tracking module for tracking and storing locations of the items based on the sensor readings and the merchandise tracking model. The system also includes a planogram compliance module for determining planogram compliance based on comparing the self-learned planogram to the item locations.

  • Patent number: 10089614
Abstract: A checkout system includes a checkout station having a housing, an attendant work station, a customer unloading station and an exceptions processing subsystem. A point-of-sale system has a microprocessor and memory operatively associated with one another to identify products being purchased, payments tendered therefor and to store transaction information locally at the checkout station or remotely from the checkout station. The microprocessor has programming configured to allow an item to be scanned by a product identification scanner and in communication with the exceptions processing subsystem. The attendant work station may include an exceptions handling display: Check out methods and apparatus are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10085095
Abstract: A hearing aid system and method of operating the hearing aid system, wherein the impedance of a hearing aid receiver is measured, values of two hearing aid receiver parameters are derived based on the measurements, an electro-acoustical model of the receiver is provided using the derived values, the model is used to predict (i) a non-distorted membrane displacement based on the derived values of the parameters measured at a zero bias voltage, and (ii) a distorted membrane displacement based on the derived values of the parameters measured at a non-zero bias voltage, based on the predicted displacements, a compensation gain is determined suitable to compensate non-linear distortion of the hearing aid receiver, and the compensation gain is applied to the processing of a hearing aid input signal.
