Abstract: A prayer enclosure which can be constructed as a free-standing enclosure or attached to a structure or built into a closet and includes an enclosure interior, typically closed by a door. The enclosure interior is fitted with an alter and alter support, which alter support typically defines an alter recess, a kneeler storage recess and a kneeler having a kneeler recess for accommodating literature such as a Bible and Bible reference books. Above the alter is an interior cross emblem, typically fitted with an interior cross border and a decorative light fixture can be mounted on the top panel of the enclosure frame. A literature holder or holders may also be provided in the enclosure interior, to facilitate a prayer enclosure for accommodating an individual, typically in the kneeling position and typically for prayer purposes.
