  • Publication number: 20190294569
Abstract: Based on a command to interrupt operation of a selected one or more of a plurality of data storage drives coupled to two or more storage controllers, two or more signals are sent from the two or more storage controllers via two or more data busses associated with and coupled to the respective two or more controllers. The selected data storage drive receives the two or more signals via the two or more data busses. Based on determining that the two or more signals agree, the operation of the selected drive is interrupted.

  • Publication number: 20190286355
Abstract: A hybrid storage device includes a first storage medium configured to store data at a first speed and a second storage medium configured to store data at a second speed. The first storage medium may be a NAND flash storage medium, and the second storage medium may be disc storage medium. Partitions of the first storage medium are associated with partitions of the second storage medium to form at least two storage tiers. Each of the storage tiers may include different NAND partition capacities. The storage device further includes a peer to peer communication channel between the first storage medium and the second storage medium for moving data between a NAND partition and HDD partition. The storage device is accessible via a dual port SAS or PCIe interface.

  • Publication number: 20170258366
Abstract: An apparatus and method for non-invasive and continuous measurement of respiratory chamber volume and associated parameters including respiratory rate, respiratory rhythm, tidal volume, dielectric variability and respiratory congestion. In particular, a non-invasive apparatus and method for determining dynamic and structural physiologic data from a living subject including a change in the spatial configuration of a respiratory chamber, a lung or a lobe of a lung to determine overall respiratory health comprising an ultra wide-band radar system having at least one transmitting and receiving antenna for applying ultra wide-band radio signals to a target area of the subject's anatomy wherein the receiving antenna collects and transmits signal returns from the target area.

  • Publication number: 20160358280
Abstract: A computerized system and method for enhancing benefits for members of a health benefits plan. The system and method target behavioral change by integrating personal engagement participation and rewarding individuals that commit to healthy lifestyle choices. The computerized system and method comprises an enrollment process that serves a starting point for determining a consumer's wellness, identifying tools and resources to increase the consumer's wellness, and applying incentives to encourage participation in wellness activities. Consumer enrollment data is stored in a shared repository that also tracks the consumer's participation in wellness activities and to determine eligibility for enhanced plan benefits. Enhanced plan benefits may include increased and/or expanded coverage for primary care and specialty care office visits, and/or reduced co-pays for office visits and emergency room or urgent care visits.

  • Patent number: 9395165
Abstract: A subsonic ammunition cartridge casing having an engineered internal volume designed to allow for the introduction of precisely the amount of propellant necessary at precisely the desired location to reproducibly produce the desired projectile velocity and internal pressure is provided. The subsonic shell casing has an engineered internal propellant cavity built into the internal body of the casing itself that does not necessarily depend on the introduction of a separate volume reducing device such as tubing, filler, foam filler and the like. This ensures the integrity of the case, does not result in anything being expelled through the muzzle of the weapon other than the projectile, does not have any burning or combusting components, allows for very precise control of the internal volume and thus chamber pressure, and is economical to produce.
