Abstract: A computer based system for the real time deployment of a plurality of individual human resource units (employees) that does not require the constant attention of a supervising staff member. Employees interact with input devices at their work location throughout the day to receive their assignments, breaks, lunches, and other information. Managers make scheduling and deployment decisions within the system and are provided with information as to how these changes will impact the day's operation.
