  • Patent number: 10779110
Abstract: Methods and systems for mobile entry may include determining that a user of a mobile device is eligible for a mobile entry program associated with a hospitality service. There may be a reservation for the hospitality service. A mobile entry program key associated with the reservation may be stored to the mobile device. An access device associated with the hospitality service may be switched to an operating mode in which the access device may receive the mobile entry program key from the mobile device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 29, 2018
Date of Patent: September 15, 2020
    Assignee: HYATT CORPORATION
    Inventor: Joe Schwartz
  • Patent number: 10317385
Abstract: Disclosed are methods that can be used to automatically calibrate a fluorescence-measuring instrument capable of continuously measuring the concentration of hardness in process water. The calibration method is used to compensate for drift of instrument and equipment, changes of operational conditions, and contamination of reagents and calibration standards. Calibration of the fluorescence-measuring instrument using the present calibration method improves both accuracy and repeatability for subsequent hardness concentration measurements.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 1, 2016
Date of Patent: June 11, 2019
    Assignee: Ecolab USA Inc.
Inventors: Hui Li, Alexandra Knoth, Joe Schwartz, Christopher Brant Wilson, Arthur Kahaian

  • Publication number: 20050133091
Abstract: A system of equipment allowing addition of solid materials to a pressurized pipeline wherein said solid material is conveyed in such a way as to be readily dissolved by the liquid in said pipeline. The system includes a solid material transfer device that is used to transfer solid material to the point of intake in a pressurized pipeline, without allowing liquid from the process pipeline to access the solid material in the solid material feeder. The system of equipment has been found to be particularly useful in feeding pellets containing resazurin.
