  • Publication number: 20230419303
Abstract: A video data transmission method for transmitting video data is disclosed. The video data includes a view of a virtual space in which a plurality of avatars are allowed to participate. The plurality of avatars is each associated with one of a plurality of users. The video data transmission method according to an aspect includes the step of generating a first wallet in association with first user identification information identifying a first user and the step of granting, in response to a first acquisition request from the first user, the first user a first non-fungible asset for use in the virtual space and tokenized as non-fungible tokens. A first non-fungible token associated with the first non-fungible asset is transferred to an address of the first wallet.

  • Patent number: 10154028
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing an unregistered user with access to a network in a secure and efficient manner. A random, on-demand password is generated and the password is associated with an account that permits the user to access the network for a single session only. The account is also associated with a specific IP address. Entry of the password permits access to the network on the IP address associated with the account. At the conclusion of the single session, the password is disposed of such that it will no longer enable access to the network. An access point associated with the network can also be configured to collect marketing information by pairing the IP address with a virtual IP address, in which a user's demographic information is embedded. Such configuration can be used to aggregate data concerning the network activities of users with similar demographic characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20170339541
Abstract: Embodiments provide techniques for sending emergency messages from a communication device triggered by an impact event. In accordance with one embodiment, a system is provided that includes a memory to store sensor data and a processor operatively coupled to the memory. The processor to receive inertial sensor data related an impact of a client device from an impact sensor associated with the client device. The sensor data indicates an amount of force applied to the client device with respect to the impact. A triggering event is detected based on the impact of the client device. A mode of the device is activated based on the triggering event. Responsive to detecting the triggering event, a message is generated that indicates a status of user associated with the client device. A message indicating a status of user associated with the device is generated with respect to the triggering event.

  • Publication number: 20170228129
Abstract: Implementations disclose dual environments with a 3-D Earth-like graphical user interface within one computing device. A method of one implementation includes causing a display device to render a graphical user interface (GUI) that is three-dimensional and spherical, the GUI comprising dual environments comprising a northern hemisphere and a southern hemisphere, wherein applications correspond to at least one of the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere, or an equator between the northern and southern hemispheres, responsive to a trigger indication, submissively causing applications of a first environment of the dual environments to be inactive in order to hibernate the first environment on the computing device, and causing the display device to render the GUI to present, in a majority of the GUI, applications corresponding to the equator and to a second environment of the dual environments on a display of the computing device.
