Publication number: 20220156678Abstract: A system and method is presented for gathering data concerning harvests. Data tickets are generated at a point of origination (i.e., the field), local storage, processing, or a customer location. Implements attached to a vehicle in the field (e.g., a tractor) may provide sensor data over a vehicle communication bus about how a field processing task was performed. A computing device on the vehicle periodically reads the sensor data and records the data along with the current time and GPS position of the vehicle as a data point. A plurality of data points are transmitted to a remote server as a data trail. Data trails from a plurality of vehicles are compared to find points of intersection. Sensor data in the data trails for the points of intersection are examined to determine data related to the transfer of goods between vehicles during the time of intersection.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 1, 2022Publication date: May 19, 2022Applicant: Conservis LLCInventors: Patrick P. Christie, Joe Tevis, Michael Borman, Chuck Faison, Matthew Shilts, Paul Larson

Data tickets are generated at a point of origination (i.e., the field), local storage, processing, or a customer location. Data tickets may also be generated for supplies delivered to the field. Implements attached to a vehicle in the field (e.g., a tractor) may provide data over a vehicle communication bus about how a field processing task was performed. Data may be extracted from the bus to use in preparing a field processing ticket, possibly in combination with manual entry from field personnel. A harvest data tracking system, based on data tickets, may be used to track the complete life cycle of crop production.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 18, 2018Publication date: November 29, 2018Applicant: Conservis CorporationInventors: Patrick P. Publication number: 20030208319Abstract: The present invention is a system and method for creating demo application maps for site-specific farming. The demo application maps contain a blend of agricultural products. The blend of agricultural products can be viewed or printed either numerically or graphically. Once the demo application maps are combined with a map payment system, the blend of agricultural products can be used by an application machine to apply products to a field. The demo application maps are created by first inputting product information into a mapping system. The agricultural product information contains a percentage of crop inputs contained in the products. Next, the mapping system accesses crop input requirement maps. The crop input requirement maps contain a prescription of crop inputs to apply to a field. The product information and crop input requirement maps are combined to create a blend of agricultural products.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 5, 2001Publication date: November 6, 2003Applicant: AGCOInventors: Todd Ell, Joe Tevis
