  • Publication number: 20090052980
Abstract: An improved scaffold connection for engagement of scaffold members to support members. The connection employs a ring member engaged to the vertical scaffold member. A rotatable latch member engages a lower surface of the ring member to maintain a hook or support portion of a latch body on the upper surface of the ring member. A locking member rotationally engaged to the latch member, is gravity activated to rotate and engage the latch body to hold the latch member engaged to the ring member.

  • Patent number: 5746289
Abstract: A scaffold hatch system including a frame member with an opening therethrough, the frame member being supportably attachable to a scaffolding system, the scaffolding system including a plurality of horizontal support members, a plurality of vertical support members and a floor having a walking surface with a passageway therethrough, where the opening of the frame is alignable with the passageway. The invention includes several flanges for attachment to a scaffold system. A hatch attached to the frame to cover the opening is also provided, as is a ladder to access the hatch.

  • Patent number: 5433322
Abstract: A scaffold stacking device of unitary construction is provided, comprising a generally elongated block member having a top side and a bottom side; a plurality of semi-circular recesses formed along the top and bottom sides, wherein each of the recesses is sized to receive a scaffold member; and vertical posts attached to the ends of the block member for mating with vertical bores in other identical stacking devices. Multiple stacking devices are secured to one another by passing a cable through cleats attached to the stacking devices. The resulting configuration allows the scaffold members to be easily and quickly counted, and the scaffold members can be transported to and from construction sites safely and without wear or damage from contact with other scaffold equipment.
