  • Patent number: 9791491
Abstract: A micropositioning device for a piezoelectric actuator includes a means for controlling an electric field applied to the piezoelectric actuator so as to deform the piezoelectric material, and means for simultaneous measurement of a variation of electric charge accumulated on the piezoelectric actuator resulting from the deformation; and means for acquiring measurements of the variation of electric charge, for processing these acquisitions and for estimating a displacement (x, y, z) of the piezoelectric actuator and/or an applied force.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 22, 2013
Date of Patent: October 17, 2017
Assignees: UNIVERSITE DE FRANCHE COMTE, ECOLE NATIONAL SUPERIEURE DE MECANIQUE ET DES MICROTECHNIQUES
Inventors: Ioan Alexandru Ivan, Joël Agnus, Manitrarivo Rakotondrabe
  • Patent number: 9180594
Abstract: The present invention relates to a tool for a microtechnical gripper. The tool of the invention includes a tip having a support and first and second fingers disposed opposite one another in a chosen position. Each finger is connected to the support by a connecting element so as to be held in a rest position corresponding to the chosen position, the connecting element being flexible in order to allow the fingers to move with at least one degree of freedom relative to the support.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 24, 2012
Date of Patent: November 10, 2015
Assignees: Centre National De La Recherche Scientifique CNRS, Universite De Franche-Comte
    Inventors: David Heriban, Joël Agnus
  • Patent number: 9052218
Abstract: A microtechnique device includes an actuator, designed to move movable equipment with a permanent magnet with respect to a support. The actuator is designed to move the movable equipment in two degrees of freedom from a position of rest, and the permanent magnet is chosen to have a magnetic field distribution that presents a main plane of symmetry and a main direction of magnetization passing through a center. The device includes a first magnetic sensor and a second magnetic sensor, these two being designed to detect a movement of the magnet. The sensors are positioned with respect to the position of rest of the magnet in a specific manner in the main plane of symmetry of the magnetic field and near to extrema. The first and second sensors are then sensitive to the movements of the movable equipment perpendicular to their respective working axes.
